itemless isnt impossible, its just boring as fuck. i say this as someone who sits there for 10 turns spamming applause just to save 1 more jerky "just in case" when i know goddamn well with healing abilities and campfires i literally wont need any items.

Hey little note, if you had found and gave yogurt the Tattered will it removes his depression when it is equipped to him but it makes it so you can’t use his fire ability’s. Also it gives him a boost to all his stats

i actually attempted this with tattered will in an earlier run, the stat boost is not worth the lack of turpentine (which is also sealed) imo

I always had a fascination with no item runs. I wonder if every LISA game is doable without items... I remember trying this fight without either items or healing... it was damn near impossible. I could get to the Hardest Rider phase on some runs, but would lose very quickly afterwards due to having no health left. I might try again and see if I can make something work.

I've done a couple of itemless runs on my own time, that is to say no items in battle, I don't think most of them are possible without items at all, even in the overworld hopeful definitely gave me the most challenge since it being a "big number damage" game makes you fairly reliant on items at times whereas "small number damage" games like pointless and timeless are actually decently easy due to the game encouraging you to strategize and making the most out of your skills in the first place

@@AlterReaper I found myself almost never using battle items in Pointless or Timeless when I played. I remember doing Hopeful no battle items or healing on Rod route though, and it was a nightmare. Hardest Rider wasn't possible. The Snow Cannon lovelies sucked because I was underleveled. Connect 4 hearts was the worst. I think I actually still have some of the videos on my channel, they're just unlisted...
