While barq's hold on Olathe seems to be getting even stronger day by day, one man and his friends find what may be the last Mug alive. And when that Mug leaves the house it's our heros job to protect it from the vicious cans outside of the protection of their home. Our protagonist finds some extraordinary comrades along the way, some wanting soda, and some just wanting a friend. In the end our hero does what many of us would've not had the strength to achieve. His old apprentice, Coca-cola, burdened by the loss of Barq's quality, blames it on our hero. He eventually gathers quite the following of 'Barq's Boys' that work to beat our hero, abuse him and fuel his addiction. The only true threat Coca Cola faces is the FDA. They continue to foil the plans of coca-cola by not allowing Barq's to be made using 50% rat poison. Eventually the FDA manages to get a hold of Mug and says they must keep it, for it may be the only chance they have. Our hero must fight a mental and physical battle, but in the end he is not the victor. Only time will tell what happens to Mug. What great new things will be revealed? All this and more in Lisa the mugful: made in a weekend.
