Although its devastating to see arnold like that,it was just a matter of time before he ended up like that When you first meet him in vanilla pointless,hes already weakened from having fought nonstop for weeks,even if alex and joel did not show up he wouldve still kept fighting to exhaustion.

That's the dilemma of the Franchise. No one man can achieve all those folds, and with madness setting in after each an every kill teaming up is impossible. Shit, Alex is the most kind guy this side of Olathe and even he succumbs to infinity and resorts to betrayal within just 3 folds. Odd case is Francis, but we don't really know how many folds Francis and co racked up. But they seemed to genuinely care about each other.

@@garrettoliva5154 Part of me likes to believe that Francis was teaching the other two guys how to fight so that he could avoid killing or progress further in the folds, to preserve his sanity in other words. But, of course, that's just head canon.

@@bigswigg3631 Not a bad theory, it's like a small arch for him. How at first he plans to selfishly screws over these weaker jobbers with folds and eventually ditch them, but then he slowly grows attached to them and wants to preserve their wellbeing not just for his own goal but because he cares.

Honestly while i consider wilbur sin superior to the base game what they did to Arnold is the one thing that cannot be overlooked. The titular "Mystic of Violence" is now just "That one guy who does 37 damage with the overused triple jab who get's ganged up on while barely putting up a fight"

@@cogwithnoambition2990 Yeah that was super lame, they made it too easy. It's even worse because the addon teases us Arnold even more than the base game. We see him multiple extra times, killing and looking mysterious. We see his green silhouette on top of a pile of Jerseyheads in the secret area next to Floyd... And he just get's ganged on and that's it. Smh you can even kill him early by attacking the core. Imo the party busters should just not interfere until the end cutscene, when he's dead.

Honestly wish the super bosses were actually hard to compensate for the higher abundance of items and levels but nah we get a barely changed Roland and an Arnold that punches with the force of sock-em boppers instead of fists. I hate to say it but even Borislav the true super-boss isn't that hard the moment you learn how to fight him. Hopefully JC Jimmy buffs them all so we get an actual challenge befitting of Pointless

@@cogwithnoambition2990 agreed. borislav really should've been scaled up with the expectation that you have the best equipment and items available. even super arnold should be scaled up (so long as you're not 3rd fold), since you're likely going out of your way to get the bloody valve.

no, as regardless of whether or not they hit 0 HP, they'll always hide, run away and come back with full health again

not sure of the exact criteria, but probably fighting arnold at 2nd fold or more, and then killing the poly and mono folds but leaving the core alive for arnold to go to phase three

Yup. Either second or third fold and if you kill the core, it ends the fight early.

I fought him on my 2nd playthrough. I think you have to defeat the Polyfold/Monofold when none of the horde is on screen on the turn you do it

To get super Arnold you have to beat 2 of the 3 new mini bosses in downtown(jeremy,floyd,or the yoga guy)

You are misunderstanding. You have to reach second (or third) fold , no minibosses required, and dont kill the core
