Joel could've shot you at any time in the fight, but he didn't, even in a last-ditch effort to defend himself he still tried to convince Alex to stop. its gut wrenching knowing how much Joel cared about Alex.

I absolutely love this fight, it does everything right, memories is such a gut wrenching song during the final phase, and Alex’s dead expressions are, in a way, absolutely beautiful and really add to the fight, this is honestly my favourite fight in the game.

Yeah true story when I reached 3 fold I thought cool a infinity jersey that recover sp THAT'S GOOD the the Arnaldo fight start then I win and saw the text ( hey lucky what are you doing) and thought what happened and to the cutscene was very wrong cuz it's the infinity guy there then I really felt regret jole and geen dead over a stupid jersey and this was my first play through and killed everything except the denomit guy but yes you're right it's good game if it makes you feel regret

In all honesty? It is amazing how well the mod is written (The Expansion and SoTWS) they are two great mods that bring together how a world without morals can corrupt even those with the brightest smiles.

The conclusion of one's story begins the next chapter of another's. This encapsulates exactly that. And... it was clearly known that it wasn't going to stop. I felt, too. I hated it. But... LISA as a whole series is meant to be brutal and punishing, right? So... it just had to encapsulate exactly that. Sacrifice Humanity, make a husk. But wrench it out of a person...

It’s never pathetic to feel bad after losing a friend… fictional or not… But it’s an indescribably worse feeling fighting them… especially if it’s an uneven fight… and especially if you “win” per se… The expression of soulless-ness perfectly portrays that “welcome to the franchise” feel in a way that feels like enduring a knife wound that’s been wetted in vinegar and laced with salt… Im sorry salt crab… I’m sorry geen… Joel… please, forgive me…

Here are some comments. The Arnold fight before is actually harder. He gets an almost full health heal once after you knock him around the 10hp margin, the horde has new ways to play, but keep being aggressive, you can one cycle them all through the onslaught without any issue. The Boys copy your equipment for them. In this case it is the reason why Joel had Super Cool and could evade. During the second "Phase" Geen and Joel utilize most of the items you've gotten for them. Target Geen first, as he is the main damage dealer. And his attacks hurt way way too much to be left alive. The Second Phase is rather difficult. Focus on Geen B and Joel B as they are able to Fall-Lock you easily has seen in the video. Act quick and remember to save some of the rando rations for this fight. No need to use Joy. Besides that? End with them. They serve no use other than to being deadweight.

About the Narrative. I absolutely adore this fight. It is gut wrenching, and through the entire fight I felt bad at doing this, hense I went for a route that truly maxed out the scenes these guys could share. I saw that Geen was a really nice character in general, someone that in all honesty? Fits perfectly with the entire party. They are well written, and the fact is that even after Alex has turned his back on them, Geen tries for a good portion of it just to reason with Alex, utilizing the least aggressive option at first. But after realizing he isn't backing down, Geen decides to throw it all in to defend Joel, and it honestly it's. Breaking, specially during the second phase. How he gets an idea of reminding Alex of all the sets and adventures they have, only for it to fail misserably. It hurts.

Honestly there is 1 thing i'm curious about, alex has been with joel this entire journey, it should be atleast somehow reasonable that alex is immune to every debuff that joel would use because alex knows every trick that he tries.

I wish this was like the caveblock berny fight, being only able to hit one to deal damage. Would make more sense, but this is a pretty cool fight nonetheless. I find it surprising you’re unhappy about being upset in this fight, it’s absolutely reasonable. to be fair I’d never expect pointless to be so gut wrenching. I wish the whole “throwing off the cliff” animation was improved, kinda killed the mood watching Joel being thrown up 30 feet into the air off a cliff

Alex had his whole life ruined because he lost a fight, and Infinity grants him more and more strength. You can ACTUALLY kill Hugo during his third folder encounter if you get some crits or use Joy, that's just how strong third folder Alex has become. But where would that get him? Imagine he won the tournament, Chie would have eventually ditched him anyway. He would have never been allowed to open up his own dojo because of his fake martial art. He would wind up old and in rags after the flash anyway. Alex's life has been so worthless up to this point that even the biggest event in it, the thing that could have turned the tide, simply wouldn't have mattered. I think that's what will happen to third folder Alex in chapter 2, let's say he surpasses even Arnold, that he becomes the strongest franchiser ever after doing a massacre on The City, or wherever he ends up. Where would that even get him? He is alone, he has nobody that loves him and there is nothing he will be able to do with his reward... Same goes for a version of Young Alex who won the tournament. @@thanoid2373 Thing is, during the third folder Hugo fight it is a scripted defeat because Alex is ALONE. Keep in mind how old he is and how he just got done fighting the horde, the entire camp, and whoever the player put him up against prior to fighting Hugo, even if he is infinitized he still loses. The irony is present because Alex has supposedly become more powerful, but he is not only exhausted, on his own, and so gone off the deep end he disregards any self preservation that it makes sense you can't beat him 2nd folder Alex is like, the middle point for him, he isn't infinitized but he has definetely been influenced by the franchise (the major iris isn't even a technique from the original velvet fu style, the franchise just wired it into his head) not to mention that Alex is still himself and not a husk of a man
