Played the release today and yeowch! Darn, sucks to see it apparently suffers from some seemingly basic bugs (which thankfully I haven't encountered any but I can't say the same for others), however the game definitely lacks balance along with already feeling (kinda) linear from what I've played so far. From and audiovisual standpoint the game is nigh impeccable though. I really do hope to see that this game's bugs can be ironed out along with the gameplay being turned into a more enjoyable experience (Elton and Berny nearly dying all the time sucks but maybe I'm just an idiot and I really should just be spamming fire skills instead of being conservative with my arsenal).

@@GGiGotHydra Yeah I can understand that but even then in Pointless Alex and Joel weren't constantly suffering from low HP/MP at least in my experience. Bulk food existing probably helped with the whole balance though.

This comment is directed at people on the fence about trying Timeless. People have been criticizing the game as being buggy, horribly balanced, and having a bad/boring story. I do not think that is fair whatsoever. The game has interesting and engaging characters, a lot of atmosphere, as well as interesting events unfolding around the player. Never mind that you're exploring interesting locations, fighting interesting enemies, and in general this is the first chapter. It's building up to something more. You can also plainly see the sprite work is top notch, the music is very good, and imo the game has a lot of funny moments. If anyone was hesitant to try this game because of these overly negative and dismissive comments, please disregard them and actually try Timeless for yourself. Timeless is a very solid fan game, especially after the patch.
