You must be new to anime because this song isn't what made her well known. She's been well known for a long time. Ever since Crossing Field from SAO which is probably the most famous anime song she's known for. Any anime fan that has watched anime for a long time will say "that opening from SAO' when asked what they think of when hearing LiSa. She also sang an ending in MHA called "Datte Atashi no Hero" from Fate/Stay Night Unlimited bladeworks ending called "This Illusion and Rising Hope from Irregular at Magic High School. She also did Oath Sign from Fate/Zero. Her and Aimer are the rulers of anime songs.
@由花子-p8n2 жыл бұрын
@@vailingbow1068 Thanks for the comment! I knew she was already well known among anime fans. This is why sub is always better than dub in anime, bc you feel like the voice is the character's voice itself, not just voice acting...If you know what I mean

To explain a bit here... when she recorded this, she had just gone through a horrible and dramatic breakup with her lover, who is a very popular voice actor, who cheated on her and it went public. So this song was extremely emotionally charged because of the lyrics, and it took her a lot to not break down during the song to do it in one take. Also because of the public nature of the scandal, he was fired from the main role in the anime he was starring in, and so a lot of the dislikes came from people that irrationally blame LiSA for his firing.
