Definately op 13 Ranbu no Melody I literally started Bleach because of this opening. The music was so cool and the visuals were amazing and intriguing! It will always be special for me. Op 1 sounds so nostalgic and it's just such a vibe. Overall, the music in Bleach is phenomenal

Bleach is really good to watch, just remember, if you do, to get a Filler list, as 45% of the show are fillers (episodes added so they manga would get ahead and they'd have more source material to adapt), but that actually make the show really cool to binge if you skip the fillers, because the actual episodes always have a really steady quality even though it came out weekly It's also a really good time to get interrested in it, as the show starts again in October

I would honestly recommend the fillers as they are actually really good, especially the Reigai Arc. Just skip the Bounts Arc and then good to go.

I agree with you. The constant jumps between main story arcs and filler seasons is what made me give this show up... I found it insanely obnoxious. I'm glad series don't do this anymore and that if an arc is completed, or not yet finished in the manga, they just don't make anything else until it's ready, and even though that may mean we have to wait a year or better to get new content, I'd rather do that than be burdened by idiotic filler garbage. Not sure if that's a hot take or not and I don't mean to offend anyone, just giving my personal opinion.

I always tell to everyone that Bleach is a musical masterpiece. This anime made me care about music much more than before because I realized how much music plays a significant part in making me love a show, a videogame, or anything else. My favorites are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, but my favorite favorite is still 1.

I haven't seen too many people mention this, but you have to listen to the OST. It's not only one of the best in anime PERIOD, but also one of the most diverse. Trust me you'll be surprised how different the songs are, but fit perfectly in the show.

In some interviews, both the authors of Demon slayer and Jujutsu kaisen said that they were greatly influenced by BLEACH. This show has really great character designs and story telling. It definitely deserves to watch!

Opening 5 was Rolling Star by Yui, the artist famous for the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood OP "Again." This was actually one of her early songs in her career, which is why you felt she could have gone so much farther with the song, she was still in her early days. She also did the 5th Ending Song for Bleach called "Life."

Oh yeah, Bleach has one of the most legendary OSTs in Shonen anime, which few have yet to match. The OPs, the EDs, and the soundtrack that plays in the episodes proper are just sooooo good, they add so much to the experience. There are plenty of anime that I would say are objectively leagues better in overall quality than Bleach, but Bleachs SOUND still blows most of then out of the water...!! I love this show, it has a great 2000's vibe, you fall in love with the main character ichigo, the story is peak, it has some good fights, the character designs are pretty cool, especially ichigos, he always stays drippin, and they also have a few moments that could get you to burst out in laughter. Admittedly the downside to this show for me was the fact that some of the fights or even most as I recall are extremely dragged out and at times the show can be a little cheesy. Nonetheless this show was amazing, once I finished it I was filled with a deep depression, I hadn't realized just how attached I had become until it was over.

Ranbu no Melody (around 18:00) is typically regarded as the best Bleach opening for most, I've definitely heard others loving a few others more, but Opening 13 (RnM) is always either number 1 or in someone's top 3. To this day it's still being covered by people on youtube, and the full version is also insane. There are only 2 openings I personally didn't like that much, the one with all the girls in the opening and the rap one (I like it a bit more now than 7 years ago though). If you actually intend to react to Bleach keep in mind it's over 365 episodes. It's returning because it originally caught up with the manga and they didn't wanna ruin it like they did several others (there's a ton of anime where the studio just make up an ending because "it's popular right now the fans won't wait"). There's likely to be another 50+ episodes airing weekly later this year/next year. So if you want to be up to date when it returns... That's A LOT to watch and edit through lol.

It's hard to rank it as sole #1 but it's tied in that position to me, it's not just the song but the part in the arc always helps, a few amazing shots and then the magic of the tear between Rangiku and Gin. Just a BTW in some openings, Velonica was one of my favorites between it came out and Change/Ranbu no Melody. Shoujo S was fun but it was elevated a bit more when SCANDAL came back for the last opening. Also I remember disliking Alones but it grew with time, like after it aired time. And a shame that he didn't love YUI.

kubo was not well at the time and they were forcing him to put chapters out basically. kubo has said that the thousand year blood war arc will have new content and will be changed so I'm assuming they are making the ending more thought out it. also tybw is not the worst arc at all its insanely good with a mid ending. but if the ending is fixed its all good

Actually kubo was the one who rushed it, he read a letter from a teenager with cancer who said that Bleach was what he enjoyed to read in his hard times and Kubo rushed the ending so the fan could read the enidng, but i've heard that the kid died before it endend, Rest in peace. Pd: The anime will fix the rushed ending, they gonna add more things that didn't appear in the manga

I recently finished watching the anime, one of the classics I missed out on back in the day and I hate that I did. But at the same time now I was able to skip the filler arcs and just watch the main story. It was a great experience. You DEFINITELY need to watch it Nicholas!

A little warning. WHEN you go to see Bleach, keep in mind that the anime caught up with the (original) manga pretty quickly and put extra stories instead of waiting. So there's a lot of episodes just with stuff that the animation team produced, not really author stuff. There are lists on the internet where these extra episodes are identified for those who want to skip them. You cut at least a third of the work, watching becomes more dynamic and improves the experience for many.

This really nostalgic, I was in the first year of middle school when I notice this anime and it was the third Opening that caught my attention and made me decide to watch it. I remember watching this along with Shakugan no Shana, Hayate the Combat Butler, and other animes that has long episodes that I forgot the title in that year.

Probably Asian Kung-fu Generation After dark is one of my faves. If you liked Yui's voice in Rolling star (op#5) you should check out her song Again (first op to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) it's one of the best op songs in anime EVER!

Honestly I think it's an absolutely underrated take, but Bleach visual aesthetics in it's intro's also absolutely blow most other anime out of the water. The constant music album themes, oldschool movie filters, super dark shading, character outfits (which Bleach style is just another aspect other series aside from Jojo can't match). They just have so much individual flare that makes me want to watch the videos outright instead of just listening to the songs alone because they fit so well together! Most other intro's look just like the show they're apart of, but every bleach intro has had it's own visual aesthetic from the start!

Bleach has amazing OSTs (one of the best in all of anime), god tier character designs, great fights, amazing main character. If you skip fillers you should be fine in watching it although I’ll warn that the pacing is a bit slow and can get boring at times but trust the concept for this show is unique and there is one phrase that will always get you hype but I won’t spoil

Change is one of my favourite openings of all time. It just gives this hard vibe of "whatever u try, u can do it" and its a pretty emotianal one together with Ranbu no Melodie. Mostly because the Story got to an final there and all the Plotholes being filled. This anime was great and i recomend everyone that never watched it to do it. NOW. Awesome soundtrack, great Plot, loveable Characters and the Best Antagonist in Anime ever. And not to mention the greatest doubleagent in history. Yeah Snape, sorry but ur only second for me. Gin will always be Number 1

5:37 It's actually a "he" that does the screaming ("die, let it die, there's no other")... and you didn't catch a black hole ripping open in the sky and dozens of demon arms stretching out of it and the black butterlfy fluttering by. The screaming actually fits quite well. Bleach is still in my top 5 ... back then nr. the ecstatic's and intro's songs were amazing as was the art work of the anime itself. Bleach was quite a game changer back then.

The first anime that actually turned me full weeb. When I was in 4th grade, I watched a rerun of Inuyasha every day on AXN after school. When it ended, I was excited for the next anime they were going to show, and this was it. They always aired 2 episodes back-to-back, and I was hooked. Seriously, this show had me talking weeb for years... some posts still pop up on my Facebook, and boy is it embarrassing, but those were fun times. No stress, no responsibilities, and your only problem is how to run home from school fast enough to watch the 5pm reruns~

Idk how I missed this one. But fun fact, even among anime creators bleach is praised for its choice of music and the use of "drip" or style for characters. Also Tite Kubo uses a heavy black ink outlining in comparison to most other shonen. Hope to see you add it to the rotation of reactions.

For me Op 3 "Ichirin No Hana" will always be my fave. My second fave, Op 8 "Chu-Bura" was way more than that filler arc deserved IMO. As for third, that's a hard one... a toss up between Op 6 "Alones", Op 12 "ChAngE", Op 13 "Ranbu No Melody" and Op 15 "Harukaze". On a related note, I would love to see his Reaction to "Number One"! It's the best anime insert song of all time in my book~

I'm obsessed with Bleach (my icon is a character from the series too, lol) It's a very long series though, and old, so forget about getting the graphics and animations you've been spoiled with lately, but the humor is great and I love the huge diversity of characters, many of wich are very interesting and/or funny, and the story is very creative. I would suggest you watch a shorter series though, like One Punch man or MOB Psycho 100, both are very good an pretty crazy, season 3 of MOB is out soon too. Full metal alchemist is a nother good series.

I swear Bleach has the most baddass Villains and Battles in the history especially The Aizen VS Gotei 13 omg I loved it & It's story is emotional and really interesting and many shows are inspired by Bleach. I'd say my favorite opening is Change by miwa. Like, I know its not the most original choice, but it was the first OP that I experienced as 'new'. At the time I started watching Bleach more often, the anime was moving from the Zanpakuto Rebellion filler back to canon, so the first time I got to experience a new OP I hadn't been spoiled by browsing youtube was Change. The visuals were awesome and I watched it over and over again just to relive the hype over the years.

Bleach's second opening is one of my favorite OST's of all time. It was one of the first anime I watched in Japanese and I really enjoyed the soul society arc, but I've only watched clips since then. Still, I come back to watch OST 2 at least a few times a year when I really want to get pumped.
