I am really grateful for your reports showing Russia as i have been in Moscow during the reign of Gorbachev. It really changed a lot and Moscow looks great, at least the central areas and very modern and clean. Keep doing your good work - it helps to show the world about Russia.

Hello from NYC! Recently discovered your wonderful channel. I visited Moscow a couple times, about a decade ago. So I can relate to your street scenes. The amazing Seven Sisters skyscrapers. Apparently Stalin admired New York architecture, and even Trotsky liked New York so much when he lived here he did not want to leave. But as they say, the revolution called! Like your down to earth view, and of course the home cooking, with subtle dark humor. Hopefully with Trump winning a landslide election (he is our peace candidate who won mostly on the promise of ending war), we will see a return to rational, positive thinking here and around the world.

Hello Vasilisa; You never cease to amaze me; You make videos sort of like Soviet movie-makers made movies; each scene somehow like a painting; as I have been learning a little of the Russian Language, I watch Soviet and Russian movies, and last night I watched "Vasilisa the Beautiful;" it was the 1939 Soviet-made version (based upon The Frog Princess); the Hero, in order to find his intended, has to find a special key, and along the way, he runs into a blacksmith, who tells him: "The key to open all locks, is a fearless Heart." I like Your borsht recipe; the beans and tushanka are a nice addition.
