I’m so happy you are on the mend and went back to the costal route. I did the costal route from Porto and finished in 12 days. I’m back in the states and missing the camino like crazy. Can’t wait to see the rest of this series! So much nostalgia

Hey guys, thanks for the videos … I’m actually planning my camino Portuguese for 2024 and I was thinking in doing exactly what you guys planned litoral first and then jump to the central at villa do conde vía rates . But I might change my mind and stick with the litoral and costal. You guys looked so happy an excited at the coastal route.

It would be safer if you walked against the car traffic instead of with it. That way you can see what's coming. On bikes it's always with the traffic; walking is the opposite.

Had the same thing on the Francés, occasionally it was only possible to walk on the side with the traffic. I hated this and crossed over as soon as I could.

I did the Portuguese central route last September, loved it. This year coastal route September into October. Enjoying your posts and hoping you finish. From Tui on Spain is fantastic. Yes the Portuguese are great people. Waiting for next chapter.

I just read one comment here about a person unsubscribing and I just wanted to let you know that I, on the other hand, love the personal experience focus that you have. That's the reason I subscribed! I don't want you to change anything. I personally think there are a lot of content already about specific destinations, and I don't agree that there are so many channels just like yours. You are showing both the good and the bad and are being open about the struggles which we all experience when traveling but are rarely discussed or shown by anyone. That's a shame, if you had stayed on the central for one more town ( ponta de lima) your experience would have been much better especially from valença on it's beautiful. I do love viana do castelo though

I‘m just back from the Camino Portugues. I started in Porto the Costal Route till Labruge and then I changed to the central route. I only can say, I would never walk the Camino Portugues. Dangerous ways, nearly the whole way paved with cobblestones, etc. To use the costal route means, walking on wood all the time. How many trees had to die for this road? I cant understand why the Camino Portugues is sooo hyped.
