The tray: if you had used say a textured gold paper instead of pink and gold, you could change out the florals and ribbon for every single season: sunflowers and a bit of ivy with a white or green or gold ribbon for summer, a fall floral pick and bronze ribbon for fall, and, if course, red, green or gold ribbon with Christmas florals, spruce and pine cones for Christmas! 😊 The jewelry box: when ever you are gluing paper or ribbon to a flat surface, do not use your glue gun! It is always lumpy and misses spots! For these applications use a school glue stick, one that goes on purple and dries clear. Make sure every bit of your surface is purple then press in place. All edges will be secure, the paper or ribbon will be totally flat, and any glue that extends out of the edges will dry clear. I have done projects using this method over 20 years ago, and they are as perfect as the day i made them. Also, unlike the hot glue gun, you can adjust the paper or ribbons as needed while gluing!😊
