One room I never decorate seasonally - other than an extra throw on the bed - is the master bedroom. I do other rooms but I like my bedroom to be always calm and peaceful with no bright colours. I do 'Winter White' in the main living areas during the winter months and enjoy that very much.

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. Everything is beautiful as always, I really love the leaf pillow. For Christmas I made my sister a custom tablecloth like you did, only I used lace applique. The iron would not penetrate through the lace, so I had to flip it in place and iron it backwards, it wasn't easy, but I did it and she loved it. I definitely have to try the pillow idea next!

Loved this video. It was elegant and classy I really appreciate how you reuse items you already have. The color scheme really brought in a sense of calm, and I loved the seasonal vibe. I love how you update the bedroom. So many people on KZbin ignore a room we spend so much time in. Love your channel. Do you have any classy ideas for incorporating a small tv/DVD player into the bedroom, without hanging it on the wall? My husband doesn't want it in a cabinet, he likes easy access. He has a very stressful job, and this is how he falls asleep. We have a very small bedroom and the only place I can think to put it, is in the closet. Any input you have will be most welcome. I would add some wall art to the wall opposite the window and couch. It’s so busy on one side and nothing on the other. Also the low brown couch with all the tucks doesn’t go with the bedroom vibe . Would look better in a man’s study.

Lisa, I always love how you decorate your beautiful home and it always looks so GRAND AND ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUl. Can you use Rub and Buff on the edges of the tiles from Lowe’s or Ross to accent their edges or the gold leaf to give them hints of gold on the big tiles. Suggestion/Question: can handles be put on these Big tiles and used a serving tray?

Hey cutie! Yes! You could totally use rub n’ buff along the edges. That would be a beautiful detail. I’m not sure how well the handles would hold up. You’d have to drill a hole in the marble. Glueing the handles on could be an option, but they would just be decorative.

lol. I like everything you did but my hubby has requested no more than 5 pillows on our bed now. Every time he makes the bed he says he gets anxiety attacks if he’s maybe not putting them on in the right place. He tries but it’s not his thing. 😊 But they do look great on your bed!
