Dear Lisa,
As it seems to none, the essence of being requires nothing, has no agenda, is changeless, timeless, and even unfathomable from the person’s point of view. How can I, as the person, interpret or explain anything of any help to my mind? It does seem like the person is forever trapped within all things that accompany the person. My personhood is quite problematic and carries long-standing difficult programming. The untouched essence remains undisturbed with zero agenda.
Apologies, I just don't see how the person, from being identified as a person, ever can do anything at all. It seems that being identified as the person is a closed system that I, as the person, am trapped within. The essence equals free, personhood equals suffering. These two seemingly coexist but do not intermingle or interact. It feels for the person futile and defeated.
Yes, totally, they can’t intermingle. The person can become more healthy, more balanced, and more free on the human level. As this awakening is seen, which isn’t a personal thing, it deeply affects the expression of the person in a way that is unknown to the person. But the person can’t get itself out of the person because the person is always something that is watched by who you are.
So, pure reality is the recognition of what you are beyond this, beyond the emptiness, the nothingness, the indescribable. What love, looking using consciousness to look at itself as everything. This consciousness is like a slide into both. In a way, consciousness doesn’t exist; they all come together. You could use it and see that consciousness is in the slide. It creates consciousness in order to look at itself, but this consciousness doesn’t exist. We can never find consciousness. So, the very contemplation of consciousness slides us into oneness, into not two, because we can’t find it. It’s totally empty and it’s all things.
So, in a way, consciousness doesn’t exist as something, but yet pointing to it and the ability to speak of it is such a convenient way to share this. But it’s like a slide: as soon as consciousness is recognized, it’s also recognized as not existing. The same with the "I am" and the beingness. They seemingly appear, but yet they are no place and all places simultaneously, so therefore they disappear.
