Laura is so pretty in real life! She's pretty in Downton Abbey too but she's one of those girls who is still very beautiful when she's all natural.

Yes, she is very pretty in real life, but I think in the show they make her look a bit drab. If you notice, her clothes and hair are always a bit more frumpy than those of the other women. She became quite glamorous for a while, when she was dating the newspaper editor, but this season she's reverted to her old drab self, although I think that that is mostly due to her emotional troubles this season.

It's just to show how great of an actress she is when she's not playing herself. Yes! That is such a good idea! I mean I use benefit porefessional as a primer, which really helps but it would be nice to have some tips/products to try out.

So natural and pretty, Laura is blessed with such lovely skin anyway. Isn't it funny though that no matter now light makeup is applied women always seem to look younger without any? for some reason bare skin seems the ultimate for reducing one's age until one reaches middle years at least. A woman will look prettier or more polished perhaps with makeup-especially expertly applied by a pro with a light touch as Lisa does, but rarely younger. Just an observation. :-)

I love this look so much, Lisa! It's fresh and natural and gently rosy, so very pretty! Laura's skin is radiant without makeup to begin with, and the rosy cheeks and lips just give her that "just in from the cold" glow.
