Throwback to when during season 3 they released this website with games and there was one where you could design clothes for hannah and you could choose the shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses and the pattern and i was a lil mini psycho and i was scared i wouldn't see all the options so i did one of each, all the patterns for every clothing item, but i couldn't do all of them in one day so i had to have my progress saved but sometimes the website would crash and not save so i had to start all over again, and i did

I think Hannah's outfits were pretty nice in season 1 and 2, while Lola's were bad on purpose. But in season 3 something shifted in the universe and Hannah started looking extremely questionable while Lola started to look actually quite nice. It was quite the scandal for little me.

The outfits are out of style by now of course, but I still find some of them cute and well thought through (besides some examples...). The last one you mentioned was also THE outfit. I remember having a holographic sticker with Hannah wearing it and it was my biggest treasure 😂 I love how iconic the outfits remained and I still like looking at those photoshoots.

Sears and walmart of that time did not sell cheap fabric clothing like fast fashion does today. Homegirl is just projecting onto (perfectly fine outfits and clothes) and trying to find excuses and legitimize why she hat es them. I read somewhere someone said it's not that fashion of our teen and tween years is bad it's that we cringe at our tween and teen selves and then we project that negativity onto the trends and fashion of that time so we associate negative feelings towards it. Not to mention there's this excessive need for newly adults to ~ cringe~ at their old selves or feel cringy just to be validated that's accepted as a right of passage. Many people just mindlessly nod and parrot other people because they don't know any better and because they don't have their own oinions and tastes. Gen Z tends to have beef with late 2000's clothing just bc it doesn't adhere to the current trend of baggy jeans and current silluhettes but it's not actually bad fashion. Like you can't compare this to the baggy colorful mess of the 90's. Y'all think the sillhouttes are outtdated but you'll soon find fashion from 2000's is much more timeless and classic than fashion from last past 2-3 years I actually bought running shoes from walmart like 6 years ago and they held up so well bc despite low prices walmart sells decent quality clothing. Y'all are projecting shein onto walmart and sears when 2000's walmart and sears were not shein quality

I find the s1-2 looks more wearable, but visually I enjoy s3-4 looks more. The thing is I'm an artist and a weeb, and I think that's kind of a point. The later looks would look ridiculous on most people irl, but they make Hannah/Miley pop more, have more of a silhouette, she's kinda like a cartoon character or a doll. The early ones are more forgettable in that regard. I'm guessing someone in charge changed between seasons and had a new vision for Hannah, or maybe they wanted her to pop on merchandise more.

7:36 I have no idea why, but growing up this outfit was one of my all time favorites. And whenever I think about Hannah Montana fashion, this is one of the first outfits that pop into my head. 9:30 realistically, a terrible outfit. But, this outfit truly symbolized the "Best of Both Worlds" song, and show concept. Half pop star, half country/rural. 11:01 I agree, the shirt does not look right off the shoulder. Too many bold pieces. The jarring zebra print, bright red glove, and giant belt, its not balanced, and looks cheap. 16:01 This entire dress/skirt, late season era for Hannah Montana is just horrendous. All of the outfits look like exact replicas of Walmart brand x female celebrity collab clothing lines from that era.

It’s actually kinda interesting how the outfits Hannah wore were how we think everyone dressed in the mid-late 00s, but the more toned down “drab” looks Miley wore were closer to the outfits we wore back then. To me, s1 Miley outfits hold up far more than her Hannah outfits. Also what makes me laugh was how much the mid-late 00s pushed those stupidly chunky belts, yet at least where I from (not known for fashionable people, really), hardly anybody wore them or wore them how they thought we should wear them- over the shirt, cinched under the bust, and so on. Teens into emo and punk scene wore the studded belt over the shirt here and there, but even then we preferred to wear them like a normal belt

I like Hannah's season 3 outfits the best because she looked more like a pop star and she was quite differentiated from Miley. In the first 2 seasons I didn't find any Hannah outfit that screamed pop superstar. Take the wig off and they would be worn by any normal kid.

I have a friend who looks good in tent shirts. Also with leggings, they actually look pretty good if you layer them with denim cutoff shorts, as long as the colors match.

I was a young teenager when The first seasons of HM was running. I remember how messy clothes just was and now I actually feel better. We all looked like utter shit, it wasn't just me who didn't know how to put clothes together. I just did what was normal. Also, I was so into the blonde guy, 100%. Haha
