Hi! I can’t even begin to tell u how much I have really enjoyed watching ur video. I actually have only told my parents and grandparents about the IVF journey that my husband and I are going through right now. I have found this process to be heartbreaking, strenuous, & has moments of “light,” but overall sum it up as a roller coaster ride. I have personally struggled with the more women I’ve seen getting pregnant on YT & even in my personal life it’s tears me to pieces; constantly thinking there’s something so WRONG w/me. I’m halfway through your video and you have me in tears. Stay strong. I know it’s difficult to hear and really difficult for someone that hasn’t felt what you feel to understand you, but believe me, I do. I’m 35 trying since 2015. Had laparoscopy in January of this year and today I’m in the 5th day of injection for IVF. The official diagnosis is unexplained infertility. I have my life in hold all those years. Can you guess what doctors told me all those years? Don’t stress. Yes… stress. I’m hopeful and grateful that I live in this day and age. So happy I found you. Stay strong. I can't even begin to tell you how much I admire you for being strong enough to make this video Lisa - it was like listening to my own story and I'm so sad to know you and Adam are having to go through this. I was heartbroken when I found out I had endo a few years ago when I was 25 and was told I wouldn't be able to have children as a result. I'm so glad you have a wonderful support system around you, it makes all the difference as going through something like this can feel so lonely especially when you don't know anyone who has been through it. I think the worst part for me has been feeling like I'm failing everyone I love and care for and it's taken me a while to truly understand that it's not my fault - I hope with all my heart that you don't feel that way ❤ My boyfriend and I are having to look into IVF and I honestly feel so scared and overwhelmed but I'm trying to stay positive for both of us...I really hope from the bottom of my heart that you and Adam get your wish and please please let me know if you ever need someone to talk to - all my love and hugs for you both ❤

Glad you share your story. I understand your pain and I have heard them all. This is one of the best thing you can do is share with people who are going through and who are supportive. Today is the due date for what would have been our first baby which we miscarried at 13 weeks just after we had told everyone we were expecting. apart from feeling extremely vulnerable knowing all of our friends and family knew we had miscarried I wish we had have just kept it to ourselves just a little longer so we could have grieved in silence rather than feeling like I couldn’t show my face in public for the last 6 months. Hey, I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. I myself have similar problems and need to take hormones. The paradox is that I'm a midwife.... Helping everyday families in pregnancy, birth and the first months after. Helping other people not beeing able to have my own children. I think it is important to talk about this topic, as you do. Woman should know that they are not alone and having children isn't always easy.... Some families are having problems getting pregnant, some have problems in pregnancy or both. Mothernature is not always nice and easy. Thank you so much for sharing!! You are brave and I wish you and Adam success, patient (although you already had so much) and most important love. A few years ago I remember you saying in a video saying you had something exciting to announce and I left a comment saying something like “you’re having a baby?!” I’m so sorry for asking that. It really irks me when people ask others about when they are going to have children. It's extremely inconsiderate, considering the fact that fertility problems are not amazingly uncommon. I am truly blessed never to have gone through infertility myself and I can't imagine how demoralizing it is to have to deal with nosy people on top of everything else.

Fellow Endo sister here 🎗 i was diagnosed in 2015 with stage 3 endo. I've had 3 excision laparoscopies since then. My last one was to remove my right ovary and fallopian tube as they were so damaged. Basically what Endo is: the cells that line your womb, as they build up every month then bleed and you have your monthly, the cells also grow on your other organs and they build up and bleed every month too but the blood has no where to go. Ita a horrific disease and I am so sorry to hear that you have been struggling with infertility for such a long time. My heart absolutely breaks for you. Dont give up hope ❤ Me and my Fiance are also on our ttc journey and trying to stay positive and stay hopeful 🤞 don't give up. You'll live your dream 💛xx

Hi Lisa, well done for being brave and letting people know about your infertility journey. Don’t give up hope as you have years left to get pregnant, and with your family’s kind help am sure it will happen for you guys. I am now 44 and started trying when I was 30, had 2 failed Ivf s and a miscarriage at 11 weeks, I always felt why me, was to.d that I had bad quality eggs, and my husband has always been there and very calm and supportive too, but after all that experience we have decided to just carry on and live our lives doing lots of fun things. We decided not to adopt but their is always that oprion which is a great thing to do. Good luck and I wish you every success with ivf. Lisa this was a great video, thank you. I know all about the inappropriate questions & find that my work colleagues are the worst for them. They don’t ever seem to register that it’s not something I want to discuss with them. My husband & I are about to do our first IUI after almost 2 years trying without success. In the back of my mind I always wonder about endo being a possibility but haven’t had any investigations for it. If the IUIs are unsuccessful I think I might consider the MRI like you to investigate. I didn’t know to do that until watching your video so thank you! I wish you all the best with your IVF & hope it is successful!

Looking at this I am so glad I don't live in the UK anymore. My partner and I have also been going through infertility and all of those checks cost so much. I had the HSG test done too, it had been so incredibly painful. We have done a bunch of tests and I am so glad it has been for by our health insurance. The cycle after my HSG I got pregnant straight away but I sadly miscarried 5 days after I found out. Now I am in my 2nd 2 week wait after this and it's been hard. It would have been even harder if we also had to pay for every single test on our own. Thank you so much for this video, I really appreciate that you dare to put this hard journey out there. It really is one of the hardest things to talk about.

I just wanted to leave a comment to say how much I admire your strength to upload this video. I also wanted to offer you some hope. My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis in December last year (like yourself she paid to go privately). The endo had spread to her bowel and intestine and it was likely she had suffered since she was a young teenager (she’s now 25) Of course it is all personal preference and choice and can totally appreciate your reasoning for MRI. However, my sister went onto have the laperoscopy in January this year. She is now just over 3 months pregnant and has had a couple of scans just to make sure everything is okay - so far so good. Please, please do not give up hope and thank you again for your bravery in sharing this story. Endometriosis needs to be talked about. Thank you again and sending so much love and strength as you continue to your journey to making your wish come true xx

Hun ive had the surgery for endo, can I recommend a book to you called "it all starts with the egg" by Rebecca Fett and please talk to your Dr about DHEA, Melatonin & CoQ10 - i went to several Drs and only the last, very expensive one looked into these things. I also recommend you read the medical medium book as i know lots if women who reversed endo using his protocol. Good luck to you and i know what youre going through, youre not alone 😘💚
