I’m looking for my 1st GG from my maternal grandpa(not my maternal step-grandpa). I know my dad’s side. I know you get 1/8 of DNA from a GG(12.5% but you don’t receive 12.5% from all of your GG just like you don’t 25% ffrom every grandparent(even though a grandparent is 1/4 25%). Ancestry says I have 27% from my paternal grandparents 22% from my maternal grandma and 22% from my paternal grandma making 27% from my maternal grandpa from ancestry. Yet that could be wrong? I do think my ancestry DNA test ethnicity results are wrong it said 9% England and NW European when I have 2 1st GG from England and from my 2nd GG was of distant NW European ancestor Phillips Trieux Du Treaux my 10th or 11th GG, it said 32^ Wales when I have 1 GG from Wales, 2% Norway when none of my 1st-8th GG were Norwegian from my maternal grandma, 47% Scorland when my Scottish are my 4th and 5th GGs(I highly doubt it thst my maternal grandpa’s fsther was Scottish?), 2% Germanic when that’s my long distant Dutch and German ancestors, 8% Ireland when I 29 4th-6th GGs on my fsrher’s side that were native Irish and also a few Scotch Irish and Anglo-Irish 4th-6th GG,and no French even though I have Arcadien ancestors and no Spanish when I have 7 6th-9th GG from Spain and no native like my paternal grandma’S DNA test which her 3% plus 1% native is from a 4-6th GG and 5th-8th GG. I’m hoping that 23&Ms gives me more of an accurate Ethnicity results and possibly information for my missing 1st GG.

I've been trying for a few years now. To find some information about my grandmother's grandmother. Charleston South panorama. She came up out of slavery. The only information I could find is her last name. Miss Fulton. she lived on the hike in South Carolina. The information that I find. Is she was a nurse one the hike she took care of the poor people.
