I Love Moon Cakes!!! I'm an older lady now,.. buuuut when I was young I had a boyfriend from Cuba who taught me all about the awesomeness of our local Asian markets here in OKC,OK. The first thing I was immediately drawn to was their different bakery type of buns and sweets. I also tried a Moon cake for the first time in my life and I absolutely fell in love with softer fillings although the mixed nut is also good. That was was back in 1988. For me, nowadays, the local Asian market is just another one of those common everyday stops that one makes for groceries on the way home from work and it all started with a Moon cake & pork bun 33yrs ago. ✨ I've had the privilege watching the Asian markets in our community (OKC,OK) grow and prosper over those 33 yrs. 💕
