In this chill solo travel vlog, I take you along with me as I find peace in the beautiful city of Lisbon.
It is my first time in Portugal, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, I was not disappointed with this trip. I got exactly what I needed.
If you are planning on visiting Lisbon, Portugal soon then you have to take a boat tour! It was the best part of this entire trip.

I've been to Lisbon twice and next month it will be my third trip. It's literally the best city in Europe. The sun just hits differently I don't know why. Also, like you said, AirBnBs are amazing. Don't book a hotel in Lisbon, because their apartments are all amazing. Oh and use Bolt, not Uber or regular taxis, much cheaper and not many people know it so better availability.

Crystal in what ways are the Portuguese people different from us Americans ?

@@kingjames2226 this is an interesting question because I don't really notice any major differences. Even when I traveled to places like Bali, Thailand, or Germany, I notice that human nature is pretty similar. However, cultural differences are still a common thread. The American experience is very unique, and I will say that I haven't felt the way I feel in the US in any other country I have visited. Portuguese people are friendly, but I am sure there are some rude people there too, just like in the US. I have only had great experiences while traveling outside of the US and I am always treated like a human being first. This is just my personal experience so others may see it differently than I do and that's okay too! :)

I’m so glad I found your video. Those sunglasses are fly. My husband and I are visiting Lisbon first week of October. I can’t wait! Your apt looks cute. I love having a balcony or outdoor space and the bathtub is an added bonus for relaxing. The boat ride looked awesome. I think I will book one for us. Thank you for sharing this. Hi Syd! Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving a comment! 😄 I am trying to get better at uploading more frequently. The travel vlogs are a lot of fun! I guess I wouldn't say that the language barrier was a huge issue because most people spoke English. However, I did download the Google Translate app on my phone and it came in handy quite a few times.

You will love it! I booked through Airbnb. You can search for boat tours on their app. There are a lot of offerings from the same location.

She didn’t fly spirit to Portugal. She flew spirit from ATL To MIA. Then connected on a different airline in Miami.
