I am an Indian and I feel that modern medicine is gravitating towards ancient indian methodologies of yoga, meditation, relaxation, stress relief and self healing. I have been practising all of these myself and realised how effective they were both to handle stress and remain detached from materialistic desires. With the death of my wife and a child of 13 years to take care my parental obligations took the better of me and I took recourse to Indian methods of mental well being which paid rich dividends. R. Srinivasan

Lol yea right and that's why they use VLP and ENP TiO2 in foods mRNA vaccines which she is pushing in a I'm so holistic new age working with WHO to get fools to uptake vaccines.

@@RosyOutlook2 You can spend a whole day on your computer looking for information to discredit all the research and clinical trials done so far and which supports what she is saying and what many other books point out about the power of the mind and you will not get anything discordant because believe it or no, it's true. If you don't like the video or her, what are you doing here trying to discourage others? Be happy and let others believe in the power that is within everyone.

@@markbanin Right they don't but that also doesn't mean this woman is anti- big pharma. She's on fb advocating for people to get vaccinated, which is not a traditional vaccine either. Simply because someone is using a veneer of holistic measures, and information which is already known by many of us, people like Lousie L Hays, Dr. Andrew Weil share this concept of mind over health, this however does not mean she's advocating against drugs and big pharma. What a perfect means measure to capturing hearts and persuading people into a vaccine for a virus which is not novel, which has not been isolated and proven to exist and has over a 99.7 survival rate and tested use Kary Mullis PCR test to imply disease, which is not fit for purpose but it supplies the need for cases. Since WHO changed the criteria for pandemics from deaths to cases, that works for them.

I realized halfway through that ibwas smiling while watching this interview. Thank you Dr. LISSA, for that because I am going through a hard time right now, mainly due to my own mind and decisions I have made which have cause a great disturbance in certain aspects of my life. I have been finding it challenging and almost deadly just trying to get through this. Feeling good and happy amd pleasure and fun, these are feelings I have been having a very jard time remembering how to feel. I am frustrated with myself because I am smart enough to figure this out yet I still seem to not be able to. And noticing i was smiling was a major blessing if you can believe that! Thank you, and I feel a little more inspired that I can get through this and be ok

I spent three years involved with caretaking my Mom...and felt the way you felt after feeling so depleted. She passed away 8 months ago, and I'm still floundering with my own health and trying to get back to 'normal'...healthier green eating, and trying to get off pain meds. This was very validating!

I listened to this interview while I walked the beach and was riveted by Lissa. I NEVER go to the doctor. I am blessed to be healthy. When I was pregnant at 40, I remember the rushed feeling during my scheduled visits. Upon reflection it was so very sad, I so needed to feel more of a connection with my OBGYN . . . it manifested, I believe, into a more difficult birth. Lissa is a jewel . . . amazing woman, amazing story. Loved the interview Johnathan, thank you.

Love this. I tore my ACL and did physical therapy and acupuncture to rehab it. Then the next year tore my other ACL and MCL and opted to do PT and still had pain. I had minor anthroscopic surgery, where they found that my knee had healed itself. So they cleared up the meniscus that was causing the pinching, but my body had healed itself. I had really focused on PT and making myself stronger and more focused on my future. Both knees feel great. I really think it was the care I received and the attention and care I took to try to heal without major surgery. Love this talk! Thanks !

Great conversation, Jonathan Fields! She is ahead of the times, and she will become among the many who are catching on the 'revolution' based on scientific proof. I am a follower of this and practiced it unknowingly since my early days. I know it is based on science and Dr. Bruce Lipton's work and books are proving that science is indeed showing that human response to the environment is what has been the of one important reason for human human evolution through the years. Thank you for posting.

Dr. Lissa Rankin is right on. Although I was not aware of all the physiology involved. I do know from my own experience that we can make physical changes to our bodies by telling our bodies to do so, preferably in a relaxed state, visualization helps. However, I have found that if anger, fear, or vengeance are harbored the results are greatly impeded. I suppose that would be the stress factor.

There is no question that everyone that is sick; knows why! And, it's always a question of thought and emotion and stress hormones being made because of thoughts and emotions being created. If you don't mind my expressing a Not, so humble opinion, excellent, excellent interview!! Excellent questions, excellent listening skills (skills that are learned!, and refined through time), excellent "pacing", and more important than anything else, somehow such a humane, gracious, open, honest, affectionate and - in the final analysis - enlightening conversational atmosphere was created and maintained that for me, I experienced something close to an epiphany. Before posting this comment I listened to the podcast twice (and intend to listen a 3rd time so as to double-check my notes), and really wish that I had seen it earlier. OK ... this comment would probably have been better ended here, but since it isn't, will you mind forgiving me for being so verbose and continuing? Upon reflection, Dr. Rankin may have revealed more of what M.D.'s are being put through - which is manifestly unhealthy, dehumanizing, A-n-d, dangerous in the extreme, for any person supposedly in their care - than what she really intended, and yet I think is very important for the "general public" to be aware of this reality. So, thank you very much Dr. Rankin for your candor! Also thanks for sharing with us your message of hope, care, holistic healing, and love. Similar messages that came through for me are in highlighting the wisdom in developing for all peoples some kind of generalized, basic fluency in finances ; economics ; business practices ; dealing with insurance policies / practices ; daily negotiations, and bringing about more liveable cities, etc. If it means anything to you Mr. Fields, I have subscribed and am looking forward to checking out more of your content. Many thanks to you for producing this channel on KZbin. Peace and Joy, good health, Blessings and Grace to you, and to all of your family and friends from Santa Fe, NM. 1♥️ Native Blood

To facilitate self-healing, the "hardware"/cellular integrity must be otherwise intact, as suggested by all the studies cited - what happens after significant iatrogenesis eg after intensive chemotherapy/radiation, long-term use of pharmaceuticals, botched surgeries etc? Like all things, there is a point of no return.

Omg, my life right now looks just like her melt down story. One disaster after another, at some point I though it is a curse. Four people in the family died from different causes for just two years - cancer, covid, thrombosis. And I find myself a widow, with a kid, crazy with responsibilities and expectations towards me, and then I got a severe neuralgia to drive me desparate beyond my limits. But I still stand up and hold on.

Very informative video. If anyone has mind disturbing issues feel better by reducing he number of thoughts. . Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. When taking a walk, at office, in college, when reading, before sleep etc observe your breath sensations. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

It doesn´t sound like Lissa has studied much about the History of Science, which is what she is getting at in talking about "technology." Vesalius actually started examining bodies as Copernicus´ work was published, even before Descartes. Important material, but with Descartes things changed. I lost my dad in high school, from cancer and a heart attack RT without E, or ND no E, after the biopsy diagnosis, that he survived through brutal radiation treatment. He had become a big intellect, but the few books he had like one on Tai chi, he paid no attention to. That was 1982, and I only later learned that OC Simonton MD had published Getting Well Again in 1978, and H Benson MD Relaxation Response in 1972. For specific MD books. Christian Science had been around since before 1900 and was mentioned in William James´ Varieties book, for another angle. Not to mention Norman Cousin´s healing by laughter, told in his 1979 Anatomy of an Illness. It´s the scientific materialist worldview that was started with Descartes and the "mind-body split." As a biological anthropologist arriving from stab at sociology with history of science, I looked at the evolution of speech and symbolic behavior in college. I went to Africa to teach science then got work in social services. Years later, I got my masters in International Relations. All with my spiritual path. In recent years, I started dealing with anti-theist atheists and learned that the issue is scientism, ie scientific materialism. That´s where I started putting it all together, and the best I´ve seen out there includes physicist-scientific philosopher Fritjof Capra, and others.
