Purfexon, it’s never too late to start doing nails. That’s exactly what my mom always said, “your only as old as you feel”. lol 😆 We can do anything we put our minds into, and always remember no one is perfect. I have been doing nails for about 4 years and everyday I learn something new. You are correct, the prices are getting ridiculous, but it got a lot worse during the unfortunate pandemic. With everyone being on lock down and everything being closed, so many people couldn’t go to the salons, so they had to resort to doing their own nails. Unfortunately now everything is on popular demand and the businesses are raising their prices like crazy. I wish you the best on your nail journey!! Stay safe and god bless!! 🙂

Time and patience is the hardest part with getting your curls back. I ended up cutting off all my heat damaged straight ends and since I rarely use heat an when I do I'm very cautious. You are on the right track..You got this!

You should try Paul Mitchell products and finger curl it ! Use a light gel or cream on your hair and always wear a bonnet to sleep. You should also get a neon sign with your logo for the empty space

Any time that you lighten your hair it will affect the curl and break down the bonds of the hair. The Olaplex will help to reform your curls over time. Make sure that you are doing a number 3 treatment once a week on top of using numbers 4 and 5 every time you wash. When you start to see a difference change your shampoo and conditioner that is moisturizing. Aveda Nutri Plenish is awesome.

Hey! I’m a hairstylist! I recommend you trying out bumble and bumble curl series. Their shampoo and conditioner is amazing and for styling to enhance your curls I would use the anti humidity gel oil. It’s not crunchy but still has an amazing hold to keep the shape of the first day.

I use Olaplex products. I lightened my hair and it literally looked like a broom soon after. So I use Olaplex but you bave to use certain steps depending on what you want. You can do the quiz on their site and they will recommend the products. Also, do as the instructions say. These are protein based and a lot of it can damage your hair.

Gurl... you gotta try Moroccan Oil. The brand is actually Moroccan oil. I use their oil on my ends and up to about the middle of my hair. It's amazing for moisture. I actually use their moisture repair shampoo and conditioner as well and their leave in conditioner. I did the same thing as you did with your hair but I actually straightened away the majority of my curls. From what everyone has told me ,curls love moisture. So the more hydrated your hair is the better your curls will be. I've even noticed a difference in how much water I drink. Like if I've drank alot of water my curls will be on point that day. I just got this new curl cream called coconut curling cream by Cantu. I haven't tried it yet but I'll let cha know how I like it once I do. Also don't wash your hair everyday. Washing it to much will take the moisture out. Even if it needs it. My hair dresser ( both of them) have told me this is what fries my hair out even more. I'd love to win anything your giving away. I've been doing my nails for a while now( stamping and using indie polishes) but I just started trying to do acrylic ( this is so much harder than it looks. Lol), press ons and the full cover gel tips do I basically still need everything. I've been trying to get what I need but man, nail stuff can be expensive. Lol. Thanks for the chance to win. Hey girl I have the same issue ! I’d recommend wet plopping overnight for the best definition and deep conditioning twice a week. Some other helpful things are Bantu knots, finger coils or rod sets to help your curl get that shape again. Hydration is key 💕 I’m gonna go continue watching the video I’ll be back lol

Have you clarified your tresses? If it's not co operating it usually is coated in silicones or some super coating ingredient from any hair products.. other suggestions are: hot oil treatments/ protein treatment/ moisture treatment! It's such an experiment with curls, it will take time to figure it out - yr curls looks beautiful regardless I wouldn't of thought anything if you didn't say!!!

Oliplex will help restore the Ph in hair from the color. My curl pattern was restored after I cut my hair. If you are going to cut your hair and start over, then lighten it with a blonde, use Oliplex after. But I always go between curly and straight because I don’t like the curly maintenance and having a wet head in the morning. You will continue the battle with finding the product that work for you. For me, it’s kinky curly. Keep trying…you’ll find one. But it’s gonna cost ya. Lol.

Have you ever tried diffusing your hair to bring your curls out? I’ll add mousse and scrunch it up, and with a hairdryer and diffuser attachment, scrunch it while drying and my hair comes out looking like a curly lion’s mane. 😁

Have you tried L'Oréal 8 second miracle water. I love it. It's makes my hair so smoothe & soft. You'll love the olaplex. I specifically like zero & 3 then the bonding oil it takes all my fuzzies away. Also I like your hair beautiful lady!

omg!!! the boys are sooooooo adorable!!! my oldest boy played baseball!! thats awesome!! i love a vlog type video from my nail Loves...have you ever tried hot oil treatments for ur hair hunni??... my babies and grandbabies are biracial and have very ethnic, thick, full, curly, beautiful, but dry too...i dont put chemicals on the little ones heads, but i do use natural oils and do hot oil treatments.. same as i did with their mommy, even now lol..and hers is over processed too, from flat ironing and such...anyway, thought i'd tell u about that.. thnx for including us!! luv ya Boop!! xxoo

yea Ive done hot oil treatments. My hair it just weird. It get oily really fast but hella dry at the same time idk. I just need to read into the ingredients on some of these hair products a little more I think.

@@LissetteCruz another one i use, like 2x a week is Tea Tree oil...it seems to help hers too...thats like Ka'Leyah's (grand baby)...her hair sucks that moisture right up and within the day it still gets extremely dry...ugh...thats why my stays short and if i get in my feelings about it, i put on one of my wigs! lolbvs...my hair is dry and thick and naturally curly...so yeah... just a thought, have a great day hunni! xox

Get a blow dryer with a diffuser. I use mousse, diffuse until damp, hairspray, diffuse again. 🥰 If I have time to add hairspray and scrunch my hair through different phases of it air drying then that helps as well. Usually I get more natural curl when I add hairspray almost dry. Or get a perm. Lol.
