I think it depends what state or country you live in with the rules on that. Because where I live, we are not allowed to reuse those files that say they’re washable.. we literally have to throw them away after a one time use.. the only way it could still be allowed to be reused is if the file is being used on the one person it was first used on. I dunno if that makes sense

Krystal! 💗 How long does it take you to do a set set with and without art? And do you have any recommendations on becoming faster?

It takes me around 15 minutes for gel removal, 30 minutes for gel-x removal, 45 mins-1.5 hours for natural nail design (including nail prep) and 1-2 hours for design on gel-x! I think practice and developing your own routine helps! It takes me longer to do designs I'm not familiar with, even if they seem more simple!

@@malibooo if you're comfortable w answering, how old are you and do you own ur own studio? im 14 (well in less than 2 weeks so basically ahaha) and i want to be a nurse, but i also really really love nails. :) just wondering the age question bc if you're an adult how did yk you wanted to do nails and is it ur only job? ik jobs in cosmetology are unfortuately often not sustainable by themselves without working other jobs :/ thank you in advance if you respond!

@@ilovefrankoceansosomuch if you’re only 14 you don’t have to choose and get locked into a career path immediately! You’re in a unique position to try both nails and being a nurse. For nails I would suggest practice on yourself and your friends and family after school. You can even make some money that way! You’ll be a pro in no time. It wouldn’t surprise me if you had your own salon at 18!! If you want to know what being a nurse is like you can volunteer at hospitals for a few months after school. I hope this helps!

hi!! i love your videos! but washing the nail supplies is not enough sterilization (at least from what i saw, sorry if i’m wrong) 😞 you definitely need a hot air sterilizer (not sure how it’s called in english) at least a small one to sterilise all the supplies thoroughly. or else it can become quite risky for the clients :(
