In this video, we will look at the list of countries with most Olympic medals in history.
This is an all-time list of top 50 countries which also includes national entities that no longer exist but have dominated the Olympics in the past.
You will also see the all-time gold, silver, and bronze medal count of each country along with the total medals won.
The medal totals in this video are current through the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Norway(568) and Finland (480) again doing very well. Each having only ca 5 million people and so many medals.

519 for East Germany and 922 for West Germany. Combine them and you have 1,441, putting a unified Germany is in second place well ahead of the USSR (1,204). And now that there’s no longer a USSR should you disaggregate its medals and count the different republics separately?
