The vast and dystopian empire is constantly threatened by a multitude of enemies. The need for assassins within the Imperium arises from many factors. Assassins are deployed to eliminate high-value targets swiftly and discreetly. They serve as surgical tools to remove key figures who pose a significant danger to the stability of the Imperium. Furthermore Espionage and counterintelligence is a must in any massive political entity. They can assume the identities of key individuals, infiltrate enemy organizations, and extract information crucial to the Imperium's interests. Then there are Psykers, individuals with psychic abilities, that pose a significant risk due to the potential for daemonic possession. Also the presence of assassins strikes fear into the hearts of the Imperium's enemies serving as a deterrent and a psychological weapon. Therefore assassins are a necessity in the grim dark and here are 15 types of assassin of humanity in 40K.

The Catalepsean node is a Space Marine implant, that allows for parts of the brain to engage a sleep cycle, independently from other parts of the brain, thereby allowing the marine to operate for extended periods without needing to sleep, only nodding off for short periods and still be alert. It's not an Assasin implant.

He forgot to mention how the callidus assassin actually shapeshifts. The assassin by itself cannot change appearances; it uses a drug called polymorphine to change forms. however, polymorphine isnt perfect so the assassin must still exercise caution

I think you forgot one major assassin group. The Ephoroi sheild host, a section in the Custode that are the special forces/ assassin part of the organization.

This channel isn't made by 40k nerds, it's made by people trying to profit off the interest 40k content. There are a lot of indicators, but you can definitely tell because the first several videos had like 5k-10k views until the first Warhammer40k vid which got 200k+ views, so they pivoted completely. Dude is not familiar with the lore and constantly messes up the most basic terminology. Do not expect an answer.
