Technically. State delivered evidence at end of day that they could. Judge said by that day not the end of it , so judge removed the death penalty. State is to blame. However state knows how hard it is to get a death penalty jury,so maybe they knew what they were doing but did not want to make it obvious.

It actually works toward her being convicted. It takes only one jury member to have second thoughts about the death penalty to get a "Not Guilty" verdict. Life in general population with other women, many whom love their children, will give her what she needs - I am hopeful. Besides, she does not deserve to know when her life will end - she needs to rot in a prison cell! Prison will not be kind to egotistical, self-entitled Lori.
