Can I ask a question, the school stops paying insurance when you are no longer an employee at their service,right? For life insurance, a private policy would require a medical exam, questions, and records and deny or price accordingly. However, a group policy like an employer can have other conditions like this where everyone can sign up for a small plan and then needs an exam to increase the benefit, or must wait until open enrollment or they have worked for the company for more years. I know that this opinion isn’t popular but I don’t blame Emma for believing her father. She was raised in a sheltered environment and she believed her parents loved each other, she believed everything her father told her because she had never had reason to not believe him before.
