I didn't think I could possibly admire, respect or in general be more fond of Mr. David Fincher . . . . and then I hear his line of "I feel I always wanna try to get the word necrophilia into a pg13 movie whenever possible. I owe it to myself as a filmmaker." Real hero and class act. 😂

Fincher: I'm good friends with Gary Oldman and Douglas Urbanski 2020: Mank, directed by Fincher, starring Gary Oldman, produced by Douglas Urbanski 👍

It's a testament to Fincher's curiosity and mastery of storytelling, that his commentary track is just as enjoyable as the actual movie! Brilliant inquiring mind. Thank you for sharing this here, @Cinema Voice

Do you think they put this picture thinking it was Fincher or do they realize it’s the cinematographer

Too bad they censor the word that they already censored. Always sad when the studio threats the grown up people that bought the dvd/blu ray as kids.

Lol, I would try to refrain from making spelling errors if you're going to make a big stink about being treated as a kid.

The FYC version of the soundtrack has a track called ”Cocksucker” and it lines up with the scene since the track listing is pretty accurate to the chronology of the film.

Thank you for uploading them and being so dedicated to goofy names for all of them. This is great. Disappointing and interesting to hear Fincher talk about consciously casting a white actor as Divya Narendra.
@NostalgiNorden5 жыл бұрын
Narendra and Minghella has pretty much the same skin colour.

@@NostalgiNorden I don't quite think that's the point. I have no problem buying a physical resemblance, that's achieved well, it's more that not getting an indian actor is frowned upon for a perfectly good reason

@@spacecamppj If you payed attention, they went all around London and Paris etc. to find 1 guy just for 1 role. They had to settle with their best option. If you want to be disappointed, direct it at the lack of a suitable Indian actor at the time.

You really don't need to condescend to someone in the youtube comments about this, I heard what he said

@@spacecamppj It's not disappointing. It's refreshing there are still a few directors thinking about the work first and "checking boxes" last. They went with the best performance for the job, not the right color for the job. It's becoming the biggest overcorrection in the world to tell white actors, "I'm sorry you can't have this part because we already have too many people your color."
