The Digital Speech Decoder allows you to hear DMR, possibly Fusion and P25. Want to see what all the digital-voice stuff is about, but don't have a DMR radio? Let's listen, using your Raspberry Pi and a cheap ($30) RTL-SDR radio.

Does AirSharp listen to digital ham transmission? There's a repeater that transmits digital ham but my SDR doesn't seem to decode digital audio. I can see the exact frequency spike on the repeater but all i hear is beeps like any digital signal.

Those streams of data are likely capacity+ trunking system control channels.

All those Pi's you have and no MMDVM hotspot? :D Would have been ideal to test this with. Could set it up for DMR then dial up any channel.

That codec sounds a little like LPC10, just in terms of near unintelligibility. Has sort of a speak and spell quality to it. Apparently tho the vocoder is codebook based.

I haven't looked into pagers yet, I need to see if there's a POCSAG "repeater" in my area. Killer idea. Can you still get pagers? It'd be fun to scroll POCSAG stream on the digipi screen.

@@KM6LYW yes!!! I suppose there's a repeater nearby, I'm decoding a insane amount of POCSAG traffic!!! It would be great to decode "on the go" with my DigiPi + Malachite DSP receiver setup!!!

It should fit within memory constraints... cpu might be a little tight. A Pi Zero 2W would be the sweet spot.

Hey, you're absolutely right, run this first "apt-get install software- properties common" .. also note my insert video, we want dspcc not just "dsd" from the personal package archive.
