This appears to be the more mainstream side of the album with 80s production values, tunes, pushed back jacket sleeves and possibly haircuts. I've just come from The Prog Corner where Scot was bemoaning a reduction in musical quality in the 80s so I gave him part of my annual LP audit which shows that I have 576 70s albums, 241 80s, 430 90s, 513 00s and 427 10s (plus 75 60s or pre-60s, 108 20s so far and 686 compilations with various years) As I said to Scot, draw your own conclusions.

This side was a little less impressive. Definitely some bits here and there that had an 80's sound. Still liked it overall, but I could see skipping over the 2nd and 3rd track of this side on repeated playthroughs.

Good evening Jim, 1st song: very eighties start of the song. Mmmm. This would be played on mainstream channels back then. Riverside did a much better job at eighties music with the album ID.entity although this isn’t bad; it’s just more average than the first record. 2nd song. Even more mainstream music. Not that interesting. Toto, no not really; Aha maybe, but Aha was better. 3rd song. Milli Vanilli or something as bad. And I hate talking bits in songs. The guitar solo is ok. This side is quite disappointing compared to the previous two.
