Listen to Kelly-Louise Quinn’s brave story as she talks about her experience on Maternal Mental Health. Kelly-Louise and her son who is just coming up to his first birthday wanted to come on and share her experience of the Perinatal Mental Health team. She is featured with Sara McConville our Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist who works in the Perinatal Mental Health team.
Kelly-Louise wants to break the stigma with Maternal Mental Health - Her favourite quote as a mother with mental health difficulties is "We are flamingos. We lose our colour when raising babies because it's such an intensive process but eventually our colour will come back."
