They actually kill this song. Love these boys.❤️❤️❤️

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.

Being born into the very beginning of Gen X (70) I grew up with amazing music, across many styles. I love when newfound love for music from yesteryear comes into play. Will continue to dig into the HF archive!

For another fun, upbeat song, they their cover of Can't Stop the Feeling. A great one to check out, if you just want something laid back/ chill, but with great sound, check out their cover of Moonshine. It always gives me good vibes. 😊

Wow! I’m 69 so Sha Na Na and Bowser are in my wheelhouse! That would be awesome! One of my favorites by HF is Can’t Stop The Feelin’ and I think you would really enjoy it! If you want some ear candy 5 part harmony (the beatboxer also has a great tenor voice) I would suggest Helplessly Hoping. They have the best 5 part harmonies in the business in my opinion! Thanks for a fun reaction! #HomeFree

I have actually seen Bowser in concert back in the day in Boston in the early 2000's. He still got it. It was just before the fireworks at the Shell. So amazing, only the canons were louder.

I'm so old that I remember when it was new (in '72). As always, their singing, harmonies & Adam's crazy beatboxing are terrific. You've got it right - the lead on this (Austin Brown) left the band for home life reasons. Adam Bastien has taken the spot (and is featured in their cover of "I Still Believe in You"). Adam Rupp (beatboxer) founded the band in 2001! Watch "Sea Shanty Medley Live" - just mind-blowing. Thanks for playing this & your comments. Love from a Canadian subscriber.

Thanks for the love, I have many friends from The Great White North. Love back to all the Canadians! Yeah, I caught the Sea Shanty Meledy without realizing it and lost a great opportunity for a fun reaction. I got a running list that could take me out a good 20 weeks now. LOL. This is going to be an amazing and fun journey to be sure!

One of my absolute favorites from them. I loved the original 50 years ago and I love this one now. Just saw them do this live last weekend. Equally as fabulous. Adam Rupp totally drives this with his percussion. And I swear Tim has a standing bass hidden somewhere under his clothes.

Ha ha ha, so true about Tim! They did a great job and I absolutely loved it!

Love this! Great reaction ES! Austin is the lead tenor on this one. He left the band recently and another Adam joined. Beatboxer is Adam Rupp…he’s amazing! Adam Chance (we call him Chance) is the baritone bass and wore the baseball cap. Tim Foust is the amazing bass and if you go on his channel he has lots of doo wop songs. Rob (glasses) is the tenor who can also sing opera. Austin was the high tenor of the group and has a great voice but left the band for personal reasons. Adam Bastien (pronounced bass-teen) is a great singer also and replaced Austin. He sang with HF before they went on the Sing Off and was also a part of 7th Ave. I think he’ll do fine. Try One Man Band, Helplessly Hoping, I Can’t Outrun You, Yours, Die a Happy Man to hear more great harmonies.

Ok, provided I have a week where no new music is released, Helplessly Hoping is climbing the list!

Listen To The Music. Home Free did a beautiful job on this song and Austin did a beautiful job on this song. Adam did a beautiful job on beatboxing. I loved your reactions on Home Free on this song. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤

This is one of my feel good wake up songs. It's on my daily playlist. Austin is singing lead mostly but Adam Rupp steals the show with his vocal percussion work. He goes wild. Great reaction.

I might have to give Austin a different name every time I react to them just to become a comedy bit. Thank you for the appreciation.

One of my go to Home Free instantly feel happy songs. That's Austin Brown singing lead and yes, he's the one who decided to go. Adan Rupp, the beatboxer, rocks this one. Have you heard their cover of " Love Train " yet? There is a music video for it and they just released the " From the Vault "( behind the scenes) video. It is another one of my happy songs. Thanks for the Home Free reactions

I swear by the time I learn their names... he is going to go on and start a family... what he did? Nani!? Austin is an amazing artist but I give him even more props for having his priority straight and wanting to be with his family! Who knows he might come back with son or daughter in tow!

@nancyholter5646Ай бұрын
they were using this as an encore, but in this fall tour, it is their opener. What a way to get the audience pumped, right? Bastien is a decent alternative to Austin. He has the range and the energy. Just think about the fact that 5 guys can vocally reproduce a song that took a full backing band for the Doobie Bros to pull off.
@ESClone27Ай бұрын
Seriously? Encore when they are already pumped out of their minds... The audience will never go home, even after encore 27. Lol. Starting them off with this is a better idea. Get them rocking that much faster!
@nancyholter5646Ай бұрын
@@ESClone27 I was just stunned that they expected to have the energy left to perform it as an encore. And, honestly, a Home Free audience never wants to go home, so it doesn't really matter what they use for encores.
