Thank you for all that you do Michael. I have been studying your material here and it has been a night and day difference. I am just breaking into HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical in-Home Sales and it's probably the best decision I have ever made. Again, thank you.

100%! PreSale follow-ups are often terrible - asking for a close instead of offering more value, or non-existent. It shows you are at least earning your paycheque and done well, that you’re sincerely interested in solving their challenges. Great advice.

Wow, thank you for these videos. I am new to HVAC sales & you have provided so much insight to kick start this new path. What do you recommend for following up on a tech quote, via phone or email? Everyday the techs give replacement quotes but don't follow-up with the customer - which is an opportunity for me, they did the leg work. I'm wondering what the best method is to follow-up since they don't know who I am. My initial reaction would be to use the email format from the video, it would introduce me, provide info, & say I'm available to answer questions when the time is right for them. What would you recommend?

Roxanne I have found that a follow up phone call within 48 hours of the tech visit is best. Start with a "happy call". How was the service John provided? Was he respectful? Informative? Would you use our services again? Thank them for there feedback and let them know your goal is to deliver the very best customer experience. Any and all feedback is welcomed. Then switch the tone to explore what questions they might have on the recommendations John provided. Answer any questions and see if they would like to schedule a consultation to explore replacement options so they prepared when the timing is best for them. (Get in the house) Or go for the repairs and schedule john to do the work. If John normally gets 10% on his repairs, tell him you'll split it with him or take 2-3% for your efforts. You'll be doing the work, john is onto his next call and rarely will look back over his shoulder. Just some thoughts...... Check out www.success4othersvt.com for a free trial to our new 6.0 platform. It's pretty bad a$$.
