Talking with my 94 year old mother about her experience of lock down and how there are similarities and differences with WW2. Apologies for the quality of the video, but i wanted to let my mother have her say without interruption.

Hello, thanks very much ladies for this, very interesting stories and views, most defiantly would love to hear more, especially about war time food, the favorite and worse foods, also any frugal tips in the kitchen. just basically food stories. I lost my mum to cancer when i was 5 years old and my Nan come to look after us for 5 years, i remember her cooking very well, she made the best corned beef and onion pie ! i once asked her how she made the pies edge lovely and crinkly, she said " i take me teeth out and press the edge" im glad that soon after she came clean and told me a fork ! I also remember how she used to polish everything regularly, the house brass, and always the front door step red quarry tiles, house coat and hair net on most of the time ! thanks again for a great video, take good care.
