I only recently got into classical music about a year and a half ago and I first found your channel from the video about Shostakovich's 5th Symphony. Since then, I've been following your channel and I've enjoyed all the music history stuff you have released. Carnival of the Animals along with Pictures at an Exhibition and The Planets were kind of my introduction into the genre as they have shorter and easier to define movements (i.e. they have names beyond scherzo or allegro) that make them easier to understand for a beginner like me. I love Carnival of the Animals so I'm kind of angry that I only found this listening guide three weeks after it was released! I kind of wish there were more excellent guides like this, they make it so much easier to understand and get into the music.

This is amazing! Puts music history in perspective as this has a lot of what one might call 'sampling' in it

I was wondering why “Aquarium” sounded so familiar, then I realized that the initial melody is used in the original music for Space Mountain! Now excuse me while I clean my brain splatter off the wall.

The Prologue from Beauty and the Beast is an actual pastiss of aquarium. The director asked the composer Alan Menken to write a similar music to aquarium for the opening of the film.

Apparently that is a piece that gives different mental images to different people. Ogden Nash set poetry to Carnival, and for the Characters With Long Ears, he wrote: "In the world of mules, there are no rules."

@igorsandorov8873

doesn't sound much like harry potter theme maybe the similar selection of instruments. You could say that whole impressionist era inspired music for harry potter movie. Try listening to Gabriel Faure Siciliene which is very similar to one piece from harry potter and prisoner from azkaban soundtrack.

Hey may I ask how you create you music tutorials
@Oddquartet
@Oddquartet 5 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! My process starts by looking at what topics my viewers have requested, then researching the topic. Then once I have a script that I like, I use a combination of After Effects and Photoshop to animate the video. Mostly using After Effects for the animations and Photoshop to crop/adjust any of the graphics before bringing them into After Effects. Thanks for the question!
