Part 4 was really hard in general (so much to do in such a short time!), but more the first 5 exercices than the second 5 ones for me. The first 5 descriptions did not seem to match the extracts very exactly to me; the second ones I could match them thanks to what I remembered from every situation in general. Anyway I had 24 of 30 and I I have never taken any formal exam, I'm satisfied. Thank you very much for the material!

This is the first time I try to do a CAE listening and I've managed to do parts 1,2,3 well but it's been so difficult in part 4! Can you tell me any advise to concentrate or focus on it better? It's imposible for me!
@lourdesescobarlanau12185 жыл бұрын
Part 4 is confusing because the speakers answer both to the task 1 and the task 2 at the same time and at any order. I mean, we might hear answers to task 2 before answers to task 1. I would advise to listen to everything a speaker says before deciding on an aswer, so as to you can aswer to the questions in both tasks after each speech.
@basaka004 жыл бұрын
I personally found the first 5 exercices of that part more difficult than the second 5 ones. The first 5 descriptions did not seem to match the extracts exactly to me. Then the second ones I could match them to the speakers thanks to what I remembered from every situation in general, because they were general opinions which particularly in this case were present in most of the speech of every speaker. However I'm not sure if it is always like this. So, if this task follows always the same logic (first facts they mention, and then their opinions), I'd mainly focused on the first ones and then I'd complete the second ones with the general impressions I remember from every speaker: so you have to identify them very well.
