Considering that you live in Croatia your reaction to the first song is spot on and you shouldn't dive in to it no more....

First song is one of the most popular traditional song, not only on Balkans. There are a ton of renditions on youtube from all over the world. It's called Ederlezi in original Roma language. My all time favorite version is this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZPXo6monrisibc You could give it one more chance :) The most popular version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4vJYWOXmZh6bNE

I think you should not be afraid to give a song 1,2 or 3 if you realy realy don't like it because the honesty is something we are missing a lot.

I'm sorry, but you have to understand music in Balkans has gone through devolution in the last couple of decades. After the war in 1990es, it seems only peasants left to make and to listen music. Thus, youngsters these days are listening only turbo-folk and other similar auto-tune hogwash, and true R&R almost vanished from this region of Europe. Sorry to everyone for not being more critical and using more harsh words, but youtube doesn't allow that.
@KingslayerSrb8 ай бұрын
exactly, its incredible how much the region has culturally "deevolved" in the last 20-30 years. And I am not the one to judge people and their tastes, but there's an obvious established theory to music and rhythm, that people have honed over thousands of years. Today's balkan music is simply the mcdonalds of sound, it just is. Nothing wrong with that, people like mcdonalds, but ultimately its unhealthy, its shortsighted and narrowminded, if your favorite food is bigmac you haven't really tasted anything better, period. Not saying its not tasty, but its a comfort food, zero quality. Same with music.

What's the point of listening to Balkan music if you prefer global mainstream pop and rnr? With such a limited genre preference, what, gives you the authority to make videos about music genres you can't open your mind to? Little girl trying new things without really trying lol grow up fr

Hej😊. Did you ever Heard about part of Balkan called Slovenija? You did 👍 So let me tell you one secret. All kind of West Music came to Balkan trough Slovenija. Here were first rock bands in Balkan (Jutro, Oko, Srce,...) first punk bands (Pankrti, Niet, Otroci socializma,...) and Also first repers. The only Music has oposite way is Turbo folk Music 😮 So it would be Nice you present some Slovenia Music as well. Not only bynumber of view on KZbin but on Quality and influence on all other parts od Balkan.
