Mac has the crasiest range when it comes to genres/styles. The later albums are so fucking beautiful and sad at the same time. He's one of the greatest artists of his generation. Bro evolved like nobody else, especially when he started producing most of his work. He's a 90s goat w the some if the best beats all time Youll enjoy a lot of songs in his coming albums. Clarity is a good sneak at whats in store

Also appreciate the genuine thoughts you have towards each track. Keep up the good work :) Also! Macadelic and Faces have differences on Spotify compared to the original mixtapes. I highly recommend you find the original Faces mixtape for your video since you like transitions so much

This mixtape was part of my high school years. I really love it. It’s so hard to pick a top 5. My favorite songs are Aliens fighting robots. Fight the feeling. 1 threw 8. Angels. Clarity. Fuck em all. Vitamins is my favorite song. The main take away about this project for me is the production and the flows he had on different songs. Can’t wait for the next one.

The blog era was dope, but 2012 was an interesting year though. The best rappers of the blog era were all on their major label debuts. Kendrick, J Cole, Big Sean, etc… Mac was on the same label (Rostrum Records) as Wiz Khalifa, and this dropped a lil after Kush & OJ. So Mac got overlooked by lots of people. To me this album is more cohesive than Blue Slide Park. Musically and sonically everything fit together perfectly. (Which is why you listen straight through like you said). I agree with the Cam feature critique. The Juicy J feature I always felt was forced. He had that track “Bandz A Make Her Dance” out at the time so he was hot so I get it I guess. It seems like it should be a bonus track at most. To me it just didn’t fit. The only two features I felt weren’t needed.
