Yes! Rishloo! Most underrated band of all time most likely. I highly recommended reading the lyrics to their songs. One of the very extremely few bands where the lyrics are mindblowingly good.

Rishloo is building for climax in every song, and those climaxes man... goosebumps and/or tears every time

That's great to know! Hard to find artists that can create great song structures without being technical for the sake of being technical.

Rishloo songs are such a rollercoaster, there's nothing else like it imo. Especially in this song, hitting that climactic section at the 5 minute mark, it feels like going up the biggest climb on the rollercoaster, and then they drop you into the most amazing payoff. I'm late to the party, but I haven't seen anyone recommend Turning Sheep Into Goats, which is also a very good track of theirs! Great video, loved your reaction!

Saw them live in Colorado Springs...they played for just me and like 30 people due to a bad blizzard that night. EPIC. Wish they were still playing together...Legends.

Thanks for taking my recommendation! Great reaction! There is a lot to explore with these guys. @Andrew Matthews suggestions are on point. Dark Charade and Downhill will really give you that 'proggy' feel. Feathergun in the Garden of the Sun is a smasher as well. It is criminal how unknown this band is.

Dark Charade is definately my pick. Its like Progressive Cabaret. My sister, who is a cabaret performer and not interested in "heavy music" said that Dark Charade was next level and genre bending.

Rishloo entered my playlist as a Google Music recommendation for the track Scissorlips. They became my fav band that week and I've not looked back.

Your editing is fuckin funny man. I love the climactic stuff Rishloo does. Dark Charade and Just a Ride are two other songs of theirs that build like crazy. Good Tiger is another band that I love the drums/vocals on and really gets me pumped. If I had to pick one of theirs I guess I'd pick The Devil Thinks I'm Sinking

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! I love Good Tiger's first album, haven't listened to the latest release yet so I'll check it out. I've been moving around a bit which is why I haven't done any new reactions but I'll be back with some new content very soon, keep an eye out :)

Well done! Not sure any one song could give you feeling from the last couple minutes of Landmines. The song has to earn that transcendent explosion of beauty. Landmines wallows in its own disillusion before leveling up. For recommendation, every song from their last 2 albums is completely worthy. Eidolon is almost there. Their first is good, but the band gets more amazing with each album. If you like epics, Dark Charade, Weevil Bride, Winslow, Just a Ride or Downhill. I would love to see you tackle Winslow. That one picks up the pace pretty quick and ends (as most Rishloo songs do) with an orgasmic crescendo.

Great recommendations! This song is a gem for sure. As I was editing this video, it solidified the fact that these fellas are INCREDIBLE musicians and the song structure is wonderful. I'll be listening to more Rishloo for sure.

Rishloo is my fav band but Devin Townsend is my favourite performer. If you want to do the whole "reaction" thing but tread a slightly different path check out Devin Townsend Project - By A Thread - Pixillate. While Dead Head, Higher and Death of Music are top shelf Devin, everyone covers them. I recommend Pixellate to you as you mentioned listening to djent and this is proto djent in my opinion.

Stop talking during the music. Not for our sake, but your own. I hate when people pause constantly during songs as they comment, but its better than this. Like the content though.

Can you watch the Rupaul’s Drag Race lipsync to Sorry Not Sorry by Yvie Oddly and Brooke Lynn Hytes? Here’s the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYObp4qBi7uFaZY Any other lipsyncs you could watch would be awesome. It’s a great show.

Several times I had to say outloud, "STFU!". Consume the music and react silently first. Stop commenting through the song. At least you didn't pause, but man! This tells me you aren't really connecting with the music and are just giving us a show.
