When I saw Little Simz and RM collab announcement I was out of this world happy. She’s my fav female rapper rn and top tier rapper in general. Her albums are something else you should definitely check them out

I became ARMY in 2019, but I actually knew Little Simz before I even heard of BTS. So when I started listening to RMs new album without looking at the tracklist beforehand I was completely mindblown when I heard her on this track. I would never have imagined this collab and I'm incredibly happy, but still not really fully grasping the reality of it. It makes sense though as she is also known for her lyricism. I really love her music and I would definitely recommend checking out some of her stuff.

I love seeing people really appreciate good weird experimental music... I love how many people in this fandom can appreciate this kind of music! Especially considering how vastly outsiders tend to underestimate our taste!! I have to say my expectations were pretty high, but RPWP absolutely blew me out of the water.

4:13 i saw the way domodachi hit u. i had the same reaction the chorus just hits u in the chest. it reminded me of afrocuban orisha music personally ugh hes so good at what he does, this album is so experimental but so PLAYFUL like hes just fucking around in the best way with his music yknow like u said its very intentional and neatly wrapped up but at the same time, hes just having so much fun exploring creatively

You’ve given me another perspective of Domodachi. I’ve been not enjoying it sonically because it makes me feel insane, jittery, anxious! I have to switch over to some Jimin songs, or Blue Side by Hobi, to calm down my nerves afterward 🥴 But what you said about his voice being so calm makes me think this is a way I can get through it, with less palpitations! Because don’t we all want to just follow along with his voice to wherever it goes. So thanks! And as always he’s given us a masterpiece and I’m so grateful to be even slightly inside Namjoon’s brain. 💜

Domodachi is friends in quotations marks “. In Japanese the word for friend is tomodachi, but you add the “ ( called ten ten) to change the sound of to to do … therefore domodachi.

That and it feels like combination of two words. Domo (casual way to thank someone in your rank/friends/family) and Tomodachi which means friends. As far as I picked it up it's like he's sarcastically thanked his friends for pulling him to the wrong place.
