SYNOPSIS: Listening to Shadows begins with Ranchod. P. Soni introducing us to his world of a born blind. A teacher at the Blind People's Association school at Ahmedabad, he makes a journey along with the film-maker Koushik, which starts as an attempt to make a film together on the worlds of each other.The film makes a non-linear travel to his past present and future, where he recollects and reflects on childhood, marriage, discrimination, friendship, death, disability and dreams.This journey also makes him encounter the reality of the filming and audio-visual recording process.
