Happy to discover this Chanel! The explanation can’t be better thank you so much 🙏🏻❤

On my first listen, I understood about 50% of the context. It seemed like the captain was upset with Detective E, and the other cops didn’t like him either. However, Detective E was highly effective at arresting criminals. On my second listen, I realized I had missed a lot of details that made the story even more compelling! Plus, I learned so many new words. Big thumbs up!

Thanks for the lesson, I think it has left a profound mark on my vocabulary skills. There was nothing ambiguous about the point of this lesson, albeit it was inevitable that it would be a great lesson. I like your unconventional story telling style and I would consider this a conjecture to say that you learned that along the way from another teacher or mentor. The implications of this vocabulary expansion definitely point me towards greater learning. Thanks, James!

This a cool lesson, we need more lvc like this, w8ing new vids. p.s we've got 8 words, in the story we had "assumption" instead of "conjecture".

I had to watch your video twice. And it was inevitable to use captions to understand better because some words were ambiguous for my poor listening, albeit I got a profund message to take LVC lessons seriously.

Why are there only 10% likes? People, don't be greedy.
@HesamVazifehdanАй бұрын
Since this is a video for English learning, I’m gonna make a little correction. I would use the adjective “stingy” or “mean” to convey the meaning that people are not willing to like a video because they’re selfish and probably think they’ll lose something if they do so.

Hello 👋 Are inevitable and imminent the same? Thank you 🎉
@HesamVazifehdanАй бұрын
Hello, there’s also the word “impending”, which makes this even worse. But I’m at least pretty sure “impending” is the same as the latter in your question, even if I have no idea if “inevitable” and “imminent” are interchangeable.
