Prior to the war 80% of all blood conserves used in russia came from the US and that number significantly increased during the war. Cut russia off from this, will make the russian healthcare system collapse pretty soon. Same for medical machines, these come by almost 99% from the USA and Europe (especially Germany). This is something, russia cannot shift over to China.

There are plenty of Russian oligarchs who haven’t been sanctioned at all yet. Sanctions are effective, especially with overall crises coming together in RF. Look at Gazprom… It took years, but they’re cooked right now.
