Look at the run up to WWI, then the run up to WWII. Then go look at US Politicians in regards to Vietnam, or Korea. Appeasement is a big thing, restraining capabilities through absurdly restrictive rules of engagement - that's been common. I mean, we saw germany dismantle it's Nuclear Power capacity and building out MASSIVE dependency on Russian gas, and that has now backfired HARD. Like EXTREMELY hard in terms of energy prices and industrial output over the last few years. Left wing Western Politicians have been actively dismantling the West in terms of Defence, economic output, Civilian national identity, and so on for DECADES. They Won't listen, because Listening would require them to actually want to do the exact opposite of everything they have achieved in terms of impoverishing more people, obliterating the domestic industrial capacity, and driving up energy prices. The entire line of "You will own nothing, and like it". The other side of this - is a growing populist back pressure that is focused very much internally on reversing the damage done. And because the domestic situation has gotten so bad, the amount of people who believe we can afford to support foreign nations has grown much thinner. And this has all been made possible by a corruption and taining of the education system - to build out a growing group of anti-west western born people who are slowly waking up and going "Hold on a moment, why am I being told to hate myself?". What is coming is a dramatic shift - and all we can hope for, is the shift happens peacefully: If it is denied and suppressed for too long, the pressure will burst out in violent revolt.
@AlbinoMutant2 күн бұрын
Western politicans don't have the luxury of daydreams. They know that Putin isn't going anywhere, that he will do a full mobilization, declare martial law, and use da noox before ever losing power. They're facing reality pretty squarely, in my opinion. They know the world is safer if Putin's regime isn't threatened. When it starts to wobble and Putin's back is against the wall, that's when the really bad stuff starts happening.

@@bryandimery6509 Sweet summer child. They had the warheads - what would have needed to be reworked is the fire control system, which, Ukraine most certainly had the means to do domestically at the time given the amount of the USSR's higher tech weapon systems and such that were produced INSIDE of Ukraine. Yes, it would have come with a cost - not to mention the cost of maintaining a Nuclear stock pile: But they had the weapons. What Ukraine looked at was a guarantee from a very Bullish US policy towards global defence and presence, the fact that Ukraine got further assurance from Russia and Great Britain further coupled with the economic realities - put Ukraine in a possition where giving them up made sense. Well: In hind sight? Had Ukraine have negotiated a draw down on Nuclear weapons with integration to say, NATO over the course of ~10 years, and maintained the nuclear capabilities: Russia never would have been in a strategically good place to attack Ukraine. And if Ukraine did work out the issues, rebuild the economy through various means, and end up with a very competent missile program that shifted to non-nuclear: Well, things would have been ok. The problem is, that the US by and large, along with other nations undergoing a Neo-liberal uplift of the economy, along with a growing trend of marxian language finding its way into every broad movement starting in the 1960's - Ukraine never really got the support for rebuilding that the likes of East Germany post reunion, or Germany post WWII - well, Western Europe post WWII. As a result: It took far longer for Ukraine to get up - and corruption was allowed to remain rampant. Blatant corruption being resolved is a very recent thing for Ukraine, and in part - has come from internal pressure, but also external power to resolve it: All while Western countries have a growing corruption problem themselves.

That’s right , Russia’s losses may be even fivefold compared to Ukrainians. That’s pretty typical of Russians in any of their wars.

Have mercy on us may God have mercy on you appeal only out of hunger and poverty, O scholar, be well in our skin. 😭😢😭😢😢I asked you, by God, to save us before we die of extreme hunger. I asked you to enter. on God. On you, I am facing you, I am your sister, I beg you, I beg you, save us for the love of GodGod is my witness, my brother, that from morning until now we are forbidden to ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' I swear to God on the book of God that I will not lie to you, nor set you up, nor cheat you. I am a Yemeni girl from Yemen, displaced from my family and I. Between us is a house of 20 thousand Yemeni riyals, and now we owe 60 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By God, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants us to go out to the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. The neighbors saw us crying and they went back to talk to the neighbors and we have not paid him until the end of the week. I swear to God, this will put us out to the street. May God have mercy on us. Our country is suffering because of this war and we cannot find our daily sustenance and we live, my mother and my brothers are traveling, our father passed away, may God have mercy on him, and we have no one in this world to be with us in these harsh circumstances. My little brothers went out to the street and saw the neighbors eating and stopped at their door to give them even a piece of bread. By God, who owns the heavens and the earth, they closed the door and threw them out and they came back crying, dying of hunger. No one had mercy on them and the holiday was returned so I could live. Now, if one of us does not help us with a kilo of flour, I swear to God that we will die of hunger. Oh brother, I seek refuge in God and then in you and I want your help for the sake of God. I ask you by God, do you love good and help me even with 500 Yemeni riyals? Send me a WhatsApp message on this number 00967713342392 and ask for my card name and send it and do not delay and God will compensate you with all good. My little brothers, see how they are and help us and save us before they throw us out into the street. You will be humiliated or die of hunger. My family and I ask you by God, if you are able to help us, do not delay in helping us. May God reward you.°÷π÷π÷÷π`π^~_~÷`÷`π÷~_π`÷~ππ°~÷~π~π~÷~π~ππ~ππ~÷~√~π~√~√
