Following the Wagner mutiny it’s been a difficult few weeks for Vladimir Putin. He’s detained, interrogated or fired a number of his top soldiers - including generals - as infighting and discontent weakens Russia’s military. So who’s in, who’s out, how serious is this for Russia’s President and what does it mean for the war in Ukraine?

Respect 🙏 to all Ukraine soldiers. The world needs to give all the aid to Ukraine to help them fight the senile tyrant’s invasion - whether cluster or whatever. If the world helps then the war is over sooner. We can all thank Vladolf Putler for that; the best weapon salesman of the century, and best NATO promoter. Best wishes to Ukraine’s forces from England.

Here’s an interesting idea … . 1) Create a new military force named the Waggoners, ostensibly based in Canada or Mexico. 2) Staff it by offering men imprisoned in the US time off their sentences. 3) Those accepting the offer would serve one or two years in participating in a Special Operation in Ukraine. . At year-end 2021, 1,000,000 people were incarcerated in US state prisons; 157,000 people were incarcerated in federal prisons; and, 636,000 people were incarcerated in local jails. . en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incarceration_in_the_United_States .

@@terrific804 Is he though? Yes, Ukraine has lost a lot of troops, but that's pretty much standard Russian doctrine: just keep throwing an endless stream of cannon-fodder against the enemy to slow him down/stop him and prepare for the counter attack. Zelensky has not only managed to stop Russian troops, he has also forced them to dig in. Putin started this war, excuse me "peace mission", envisioning a Blitzkrieg style war in Ukraine: have his troops waltz in, capture (and probably execute) the complete Ukrainian government, install another Russian marionette regime and Bob's your uncle. Instead of that it has become a war of attrition. Even worse: it's a war Putin can't back down from. Zelensky and Ukraine smell blood and are going for broke: kick out the Russians, not just from the Donbas region, but also from the Crimea. Losing the Donbas region would already be a severe military debacle for Putin, but also losing the Crimea, a region that Russia seemed to have an iron grip on, would mean a military disaster and a total humiliation for that same Putin. And now Zelensky's troops have started to launch (drone) attacks on Russia, sowing panic within Russia, where Putin's cronies felt untouchable. Even Putin now doesn't feel untouchable anymore, which must be a huge shock for him. That war in the Ukraine, against what Russia considered a rag-tag army, now shows all the signs of having turned into another Afghanistan debacle.

To all those who think Ukraines offensive is failing. In 6 weeks, Ukraine has liberated 263sq miles of Russian temporarily occupied lands, through battle zones with well prepared defences. In comparison to Russia, supported by the entire might of the 2nd biggest military in the world taking 10 months, yes 10 months, to capture the same area in the first place. Let's not forget that Russias mighty Black Sea fleet has to stay in the far east of the black sea, scared to come within 300 miles of Ukraines coast. Forced out of Russias regional navy stronghold Savastapol and the Azov Sea by Ukraines actions. Let's not forget that Russia has evacuated hundreds of thousands of Russians, both civilians and senior officers, from Crimea scared of Ukraines capabilities and a Storm Shadow visit or two, to Crimea and the Kerch Bridge. Now tell me again you pro-Russians, that Ukraines offensive hasn't been successful so far? 🤔

Worst than a Russian General fighting a war under Stalin? Worst than a German General in 1945? A French General fighting Napoleon's Retreat from Moscow? This war is no different from every other war, certainly not worst.

One of the greatest bands of all time IMHO, sadly never saw them live. Sadly only Carl is left but we have great footage to look back on. I listened to ELP incessantly in the early 70's , they will always remind me of my time in Finland wooing a beautiful Finnish girl ( who dumped me). This piece has to be their crowning glory, especially the fact that its absolutely freezing, yet these geniuses play at such a high level. Sensational. Unforgettable. RIP Keith and Greg. Bands like these do not exist anymore
