They have lots of money all its family but it won't be nice for them. Wife of Bashr is terminally ill, and 3 kids are very young, will need some time to adapt to a new world. I'm sure the life they will have will be very depressing for them at some point, it's impossible to really integrate into the Russian culture and to enjoy that life. To draw a parallel, the Shah of Iran fled in 1979 with his wife and 4 kids, of which, two committed suicide when they were adults.
