Every interview of Assad has people supporting him from around the world. Even Americans and other westerners support Assad and say they wish they could believe in their leaders like Syrians do in Assad and other people as well. Assad deserves accolades for keeping his cool the way he has in a literal war for so long, successfully defending his country against lawless, ruthless, imperialists. I hope Assad wins this war and stays on for at least a decade more. The world is with you, Assad.

I believe I'm an unbiased, honest Christian man, only trying to gain an incling of *ANY* reason why this is happening. Not to choose a side, that is not my place. Who is right? Who is wrong? I've heard both sides and now I think I'm now more confused about the situation now more than ever.
@Person012345 жыл бұрын
Assad makes reasoned, logical points.The western government and media screams the same old tired shit they screamed about Saddam and Ghadaffi and everyone else they want to overthrow. Look how the we support Saudi Arabia whilst accusing assad, who is fighting a legitimate war against fucking *ISIS* of being a bad guy. Once you realise that western media is full of shit and has been proven wrong time after time, it becomes clearer who is really being propagandised. The situation in syria is a 3-way semi-civil war. You have the legitimate syrian government, led by Assad,who are basically trying to re-establish control of their country with the help of the Russians,their allies who they have invited in to help them. You have ISIS, Al Nusra (rebranding of Al queda), jihadist groups who came out of the chaos caused by our invasion of Iraq, who are invading surrounding states bolstered by recruitment of radical islamists from some of these areas (syria is fairly diverse and all religious groups have been fairly well protected under Assad's secular government, Syrian christians tend to like assad for this reason but of course theocratic islamists don't). These groups are being funded by places like Saudi Arabia and in some cases the US and certain other allies in the region. Then in the North you have the kurds. Their rebellion has largely been financed and controlled as a puppet of the United States and the other western allies in Europe. This is the main one we're supporting and it's been somewhat astroturfed using existing kurdish nationalist sentiment. However places like turkey hate it because they hate the kurds, and the turks have been bombing it. Why? Well, in large part because Europe and the US, and on the other side saudi arabia want to build an oil pipeline through syria,so they'd like to get rid of assad and install a puppet regime. The saudis also have islamist ideological reasons. This would be bad for the russians because they would lose an ally in the region, and currently they're the ones largely supplying Europe, so they don't want a Saudi pipeline through syria directly to europe and of course the military-industrial complex wants it too. Assad obviousy wants tokeep his country together and return it to stability. As I say, there is existing kurdish nationalist sentiment, but without foreign intervention it was never enough to really cause unrest. when everything kicked off in syria we started supplying the kurdish militias under the guise of them defending themselves from ISIS and we've been more actively supporting them with actual military force as well. ISIS wants to create an islamic caliphate in the middle east. Much of the stuff you've heard about how evil assad is, it's just propaganda to tow the line of the wealthy and powerful elites. As he said,of course there has been civilian casualties,there always will be in war. But Assad isn't this callous brutal dictator who'sjust evil to be evil. As he said, you can't win a civil war by slaughtering civilians wantonly. Blowing up hospitals is shit the US does, but they say their enemies do it because it sounds evil. Meanwhile saudi arabia is blowing up school buses in yemen. The supposed gas attacks - some of them were just flat out fabrications, though some gas attacks did happen - likely false flags done by al queda to give the US an excuse to start attacking assad. They were done using methods we KNOW the terrorists use using gas they can get a hold ofand really most of the stuff comes from the white helmets who, as assad says here, are jihadist sympathisers.

Man, I would love to hear the personal opinion of the interviewer on Assad an whether he is honest in the interview. The Swiss people have long been regarded as truely neutral and I would love to hear his view.

It is suprising how calm and quiet is this man answering to very hard questions. Is also astonishing how the west painted him as "The Butcher of Damasco" or defined him as the new Hitler. I really want to see a journalist going to the White House and starting answering to Bush/Obama/Trump about their "Defense of the US against the terrorism", citing them all their perpetuated crimes, their violation of the national sovreignty ecc... I would really like to see if they allow the journalist to enter in their office, or simply kick them out of there.

This interview actually strengthened Assad. I suppose that was not at all the intention of Sandro Brotz, the Swiss interviewer! His allegations toward assad were very poorly researched and mostly based on Nato propaganda.

This man has good answers to the questioning. He looks trustworthy. I would hate to be wrong. I would hate to be deceived by my president if he seemed this nice and if I were one of his civilians.

Mr Assad still looks blind to the social inversion in ROJAVA (Northern Syria. And 'Rojava' in Kurdish language means 'Western Kurdistan). If he continues ignoring their ultimate social demands, I am afraid the real Syrian conflict will flare up in this region. Because people of Rojava deserves to be listened very CAREFULLY!

@@ishrendon6435 What difference does it make being an American or Russian or indeed a Syrian Arab? Integrity should come FIRST. Human history shows that no leader has won any battle against his own people. Non, whatsoever. Sooner or later; we will witness a Democratic Federal Republic of Syria; where peoples lived in harmony.
