I don’t think these types of actions will cause an underground terrorist group to submit. I think that this type of operation only causes more anger, more resentment,, and a desire for vengeance. I really don’t see how this was necessary at all. I heard that someone lost their hand, etc. How is this a part of the peace process, cooperation, and coexistence? It’s not. Hezbollah stopped using cell phones out of fear that Israel was intercepting them. So in a matter of two days they have dismantled their entire communications network. Also if they have the Capability to intercept shipments of electronic goods and embed explosives in them They certainly have the ability to put spotters at all major hospitals to identify the injured. Basically, they were able to identify any operative within Hezbollah That was important enough to need comms.

I find it appalling that so many people are ignoring or, worse-yet, justifying the recent war crimes committed by the Israeli security forces. One could even make the argument that, under these specific circumstances, the acts are terroristic. Hezbollah is not the only group of humans being humiliated at the moment. The complete disregard for the local civilian population who, contrary to popular thought, did not "have it coming" is inhumane and beneath a civilized people. It cannot be disregarded as somehow warranted. Being a human being demands the capability to extend your humanity to others, even those you hate. Are you up to the task? Sadly, too many here are not.
