I will say/write it again. Whatever treaty you would sign with Russia/Putin. It is worthless, because it has been proven in recent years that Russia does not care about it at all after a while. History shows that many regions of Russia have declared their independence every now and then during periods when Russia was weak. This was tacitly ignored by Russia and as soon as they were strong again, the regions were simply brought under authority again through wars and oppression. It has been like this for 150-200 years, first the Tsjaren and then the various types of Russian governments. Russia's strategy is also the same every time! They say that they intervene because there is a Russian population that they want to protect, while in the previous occupations they deported and murdered the population en masse and replaced them with Russians. Do you find it strange that there are Russians living somewhere? Where are all Ukraine the children from the areas that were occupied by the Russians? The only thing that would really work in my opinion is to continue supporting Ukraine until it has literally kicked the Russians out of the country. Giving in now would give Russia the opportunity to recover from the damage they have suffered so far. Ukraine is increasingly hitting hard behind the lines in Russia. Russia has little to say against that. If the Russians are removed and there is finally "peace". Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO can be accomplished very quickly so that Russia cannot pull a stunt like that again. The sanctions did not work well in the beginning (because Russia got loads off money earned selling oil and gas) and only recently has Russia really felt the shortages that have arisen due to the ongoing sanctions. Also, the enforcement of the sanctions could be a bit stricter, too much is still going to Russia through back doors and shady companies. It is the enforcement of sanctions that has put Russia in such a bad position. AND it is a signal to the rest of the world that sanctions can hit your domestic economy/well-being of the population hard.

I see what the deal is, with this flip flopping, "Putin is powerful and dangerous" to "Putin is helpless" back and forth, they must maintain a belief that Ukraine, might... possibly...triumph, against Putin. And vice versa. Flip flopping keeps the suspense and the game going. That's exactly what they pulled with the Trump/Harris election, all that 50/50 tied nonsense.

Slava Ukraini! For the New Year may the Christ of Wisdom and Redemption (Icon) bring about a just peace for Ukraine with the return of all its territories and the children who were kidnapped during the hostilities. May all injured Ukrainians be healed and may all who have died Rest in Peace with the Almighty. May our Lady of Zarvanytsia, St Seraphim of Sarov, St Elizabeth, and St Basil the Great intercede for Ukraine in a very powerful way to end this terrible kaputin-induced conflict/invasion. Reply

ONE OF THE VERY BEST VIDS AT TOL ! My major worry about UKR politics is that 'Yermak & the Office of the President ' has TOO MUCH POWER against soldiers and others criticising the military and political authorities .... often brilliant people who have risked their lives such as Stanislav Aseyev who wrote ". "The Torture Camp on Paradise Street" on his experiences 2017 to 2019 and subsequently was hospitalised fin 2024 first with concussion and two months later with near-miss shrapnel wounds .

It wasn't the lack of arms and restrictions preventing ukrainians from dying it's the lack of a peace deal. Literally NATO countries gave Ukraine basically everything they had to the point of being detrimental to their own security. So you should preface this entire video and mention that this is editorial and coming from the perspective of the Ukraine side and do not pretend like this is objective journalism.

The Biden policy was not ‘too little, too late’. It was always a battle against the Trumpublicans (Trump Republicans) in the House of Representatives, which is controlled by Republicans. In the U.S. no president has complete control unless they have the House & Senate. Zelensky should look to Europe for leadership backing Ukraine. Trump cannot be trusted.

Side note when I say office I meant power The reason why many Russians support Vladimir Putin is because of the remarkable transformation the country has undergone during his tenure. Under his leadership, Russia has evolved from a nation struggling to recover from the collapse of the Soviet Union into one that has seen dramatic improvements in virtually every aspect of its economy and society. These changes are tangible in the everyday lives of ordinary Russians, and that is a key reason why Putin enjoys strong support. When Putin took office in 2000, Russia was a nation in crisis, with a GDP of around $200 billion, a struggling economy, and deep social issues. Fast forward to 2023, and Russia's GDP has soared to over $1 trillion, marking a massive economic turnaround. More significantly, GDP per capita has skyrocketed, increasing from approximately $1,400 in 2000 to around $10,000 in 2023. This growth is especially impressive when considering that Russia has also become a global economic player, with its Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) increasing significantly, further enhancing the living standards of its people. Russia’s PPP has grown from $1.79 trillion in 2000 to about $4.3 trillion by 2023, further reflecting the country’s improved position on the world stage. The average wage in Russia has also seen a dramatic increase under Putin’s leadership. In 2000, the average monthly salary was barely $100. By 2023, it had increased to approximately $1,000. While inflation and economic crises, such as the global financial meltdown in 2008, have posed challenges, Russia’s ability to maintain economic stability through these turbulent times is a testament to Putin’s policies. Housing and living standards have improved substantially, with significant increases in homeownership, especially in urban areas. The government has implemented various housing programs, which have reduced homelessness and helped millions of Russians achieve better living conditions. This, combined with the country’s development index, which has climbed from 0.722 in 2000 to 0.824 in 2021, demonstrates how Russia’s general standard of living has risen over the years. The country has seen a marked decrease in poverty, dropping from 29.5% in 2000 to just 12.3% in 2021. This reduction in poverty has been driven by steady job growth, economic diversification, and social programs aimed at improving access to basic services. Russia’s middle class has also expanded considerably, further enhancing the economy. Life expectancy, which had been a significant issue in the years following the Soviet collapse, has risen under Putin’s leadership, from 65.2 years in 2000 to 70 years in 2021. This improvement is due to reforms in healthcare, including an increased focus on public health and investment in medical infrastructure. Russia has also seen improvements in child mortality rates, a critical indicator of social progress. Education in Russia has undergone significant improvements as well. Literacy rates have remained high, with nearly 100% of Russians being literate, and the country has increased its focus on higher education and technical skills training. Russia’s universities and educational institutions are now better equipped to meet global standards, making the Russian workforce more competitive. On the global stage, Russia's development index has been steadily improving, and it now ranks as a "high human development" country according to the United Nations Development Programme. The rise in Russia’s Human Development Index (HDI) from 0.722 in 2000 to 0.824 in 2021 is indicative of the country’s progress in education, income, and life expectancy. The economic stability and growth under Putin have made Russia less reliant on Western powers, giving it more leverage on the global stage. Despite Western sanctions and geopolitical challenges, Russia has continued to develop its economy, diversify its industries, and maintain its energy dominance. Russia’s energy sector, particularly in oil and gas, remains a critical part of the global economy, with the country being one of the world’s leading exporters of energy resources. In conclusion, the economic progress and improvements in living standards under Vladimir Putin’s leadership have been transformative for Russia. From a struggling post-Soviet state to a global player with a growing economy, better healthcare, reduced poverty, and improved living conditions, the country’s achievements under Putin are undeniable. For many Russians, this transformation is a key reason why they continue to support Putin, as he is seen as the leader who brought stability and prosperity to a nation that had once been on the brink.thanks putin

I just read a report that said that Russia is looking into attaching thermobaric warheads to its Shahed (and other) drones. I’ve been wondering for over a year “Why has Ukraine, with its incredible innovative technology not attached thermobaric warheads in its naval and flight drones?” If the Russians start doing that, the war could be over.
