There's no lack of courage, it was always clear Ukraine could win if the West really stepped up with all its available forces. The reason we are hesitant to allow the use of our weapons to target Russian soil or to send in troops is because the nuclear threat is always there and no one knows what amount of interference Russia will tolerate until it escalates to that. Hodges even said Zelenskyy needs to convince Biden, that Russia will not escalate and I don't see how he could possibly do that. As soon as Putin deems this conflict to no longer be winnable, I think it's absolutely possible he might decide to "press the button".

@gregs. Most sane humans would be a "far more sensible choice" than Trump. Your comment makes it seem like Trump and Harris are equivalent evils which is quite far from reality. Ben Hodges does seem to be a very intelligent and reasoning man who very well might make for a very good President of the United States. I would have to know his thoughts on many other policies than the Russo-Ukraine War to vote for him of course as I would with any candidate.

I could not agree more with Ben.

I wish the interviewer had asked General Hodges about the open letter he and other prominent Americans sent to President Biden urging him and his administration to be more aggressive in supporting Ukraine and whether he has received a response.

The congress controls the money...everyone seems to forget that. Do you forget the headlines from 2-6 months ago? The congress listened to Trump and held up the money.
