Not really. Either that or he is being dishonest. Kursk has proven to be the dumbest thing Ukraine could have done. The only reasons worth committing to it were to divert Russian troops in the Donbas or capture the Kursk nuclear power plant as a bargaining chip. It became apparent within a week neither of those things would happen. Russia doubled down there. They have been gaining ground in the most fortified areas of Ukraine at their fastest rate in two years. All for ground they can't afford to hold.

She's also very empathetic. In a recent interview, with a life long journalist, the journalist starting crying when Kate asked the final question of how she was coping. It's good to cry. I do not think Ukraine needs to win. Imagine the war going on for longer. I think Russia needs to suffer economic and political break down for this war to end. Putin just has nothing in his DNA that allows him to retreat from the occupied territories and settle the matter. On the other side it will be very hard for Ukraine to fight back and take back all the occupied territories. It is almost impossible and the price is too high to pay. The long term negative effects of the war on Russia might be the more important factors compared to territories. Ukrain can sustain the economic side of the war for as long as it is backed up by the European and American economies. This war will not be decided by military equipment or numbers of soldiers, but by barrels of oil sold, working refineries, wages paid and bridges, railways and roads built. The economy ends as soon as there is no longer sustainable production and transport of goods, local government, schools and infra structure rebuilt and no wages be paid.
