Exactly! In English, he says he wants a two-state solution which western media and international organisations like the UN uncritically take to mean a Palestinian state and a Jewish state. But in Arabic he makes clear he means one state consisting of Gaza and the West Bank that is Palestinian from its inception and a second state consisting of Israel that is majority Palestinian through rapid immigration (or ‘return’ as he puts it) so that it can be purged of its Jewish identity. There’s no room for a Jewish state in Abbas’s conception. It is very clear from his Arabic pronouncements that he is vehemently antisemitic.

I think Melanie is spot on with her analysis. The one thing I think she failed to point out was that there are over 2,000,000 Arab Israeli’s, many of whom consider themselves Palestinians, who are comfortably and peacefully living as full citizens of the state of Israel. Most of them have accepted Israel’s existence and have no desire for its demise. So when she says “Palestinian’s” I think she should qualify that with “who are not Israeli citizens”, which would mean those in Gaza, the West Bank, and living in other lands. Amongst that group, I agree that the evidence clearly points to a common expectation that all the land called Palestine at the end of the Ottoman Empire become an Arab Islamic state that is cleansed of all Jews; i.e. that Israel cease to exists.

As we can all see, there are very few in the West who stand solidly with the Jews and none in the Islamic world, this was written. Prophecy plays a huge part in what is unfolding. It is central to all that is happening and none will yield until one or the other are all dead. I fear Israel has no friends or none they should fully trust. To me those that will betray Israel are those that are calling for a 2 state solution weather they be ignorant or wantingly fueling this furnace. The Prophecies of both Judaism and Islam foretells the path both are on and it is indeed being played out before our very eyes. Should the Prophecies be correct what lays ahead is far more frightening.

Well said. All these journalists need to read some history books. The Palastians are simply arabs, there was no such thing as a "Palastian" until the 20th century. Judea (Israel) was renamed Palastina by the Romaans to disconnect the jews from the name Jewdia after the destruction of the Jewish holy temple in Jerusalem (of which only the western, "wailing wall" remains.
